LYRA’S POV

Before I could say anything and respond to Kael, Hannah stepped between us.

“She is fine, we talked a lot before coming here” she responded “let’s go and eat before the food runs cold”

She took my hand and led me to the dining table.

When we got to the table, Kael pulled out a chair next to where he had been sitting and Hannah immediately sat there then smiled at him sweetly.

“Thank you,” she told him, and turned to me. “You can sit there,” she pointed to the chair opposite her.
