Chapter Forty-One: Suspicion

It was so still in the hallway, I couldn't help but wonder where all the nurses were.

Stark white painted the walls, the building a different material than the rest. It was made of some stone and plaster mix, and as I stared out at the room at the end of the hall, I shuddered. It was suffocating in here, surrounded by all the white.
