Mariah POV

I lay back annoyed about this whole situation. Nick really has some nerves, apologizing after I told him the same thing Logan told him, the audacity. I hear the door open, and I groan internally.

(Nick, I told you I didn’t want to speak to you right now.) I snap.

(You always find a way to get in the way of Nick and I; don’t you?) Mila says.

I look up and glare at her.

(Get out Mila, You’re the last person I want to see.) I growl.

(You just had to get pregnant, huh? I wish I had given you the stardust earlier, Nick would have been mine by now.) Mila snaps.

Nick barges in the room. I gasp at how hard he pushes the door open.

(You did what?) Nick growls.

(N-Nick it’s not what you think.) Mila studders.

He stalks towards Mila like a predator. When he reaches her, he grips her chin hard, Mila lets out a whimper.

(How dare you drug her; did you think I wasn’t going to find out eventually?) Nick growls and pushes her back, causing her to land on her ass.
