Chapter 5 - Kidnapped

Amelia’s POV

“Take this right and it’s the 3^rd house on the left, the small white one,”  I unbuckled my seatbelt as my door opened and his hand was stretched out to me, I looked at it and then up at him, “I’m not old enough to need assistance to get out of a car,” I scoffed as I stood and walked past him.

He chuckled, “it’s called being a gentleman, guess you haven’t run into many of them,” he said as he walked so close to my back, I could feel the heat from his body.

I shook my head, “guess not, I’m still a child as the law goes,” I turned and looked at him, “unless you’re a pervert and like young girls?”

His eyes brows shot up and he laughed, “I don’t think your father would allow such a person to be close to you princess, not in a million years.”

I opened the door and took off my coat, throwing it over the couch and headed for my bedroom, “make yourself at home, I’m jumping in the shower and will be ready in 15 minutes.”  I walked into my tiny room, gathering my clothes and headed for the hallway bathroom.  I walked out of the bathroom, fully dressed, my hair in a wet bun on top of my head as I entered my bedroom, only to find Steven standing there, “are you sure you’re not a pervert, sniffing around a young girls bedroom is on the top of the list of signs you know,” I dropped my clothes in the dirty hamper.  I’m not sure why I feel comfortable around him, but I know he won’t harm me and I’m just trying to get under his skin for some reason.

He chuckled, “no, your father asked that I take a look around, see everything that you and your mother own of any importance, so we don’t leave it behind,” he shook his head, “not much to pack that’s for sure.”

Anger bubbled up under my veins as I looked around the room and headed for my bed, grabbing my old, worn stuffed dinosaur and held it out to him, “do you think this is replaceable,” I yelled at him, “it’s priceless to me, so don’t you look down your nose at our belongings because they are not gold or silver or hold monetary value as you see it, there are things in the world that hold more price to them than a dollar amount,” I stormed past him, cuddling the old stuffed toy to my chest and whispered, “I’ve got you Trixie, me and you against the world always.”  I placed the Trixie on the table in the kitchen as I grabbed the juice out of the refrigerator and taking a glass out of the cupboard, “want some juice or do you only drink out of crystal?”

He chuckled, “I am a bit thirsty,” I nodded grabbed a glass with a teddy bear printed on it and filled it and placed it on the table, “be careful, it’s one of our finest, just for you, your majesty,” I sipped my juice with a smirk.

He picked up the glass and smiled, “tell me princess are you always so hospitable or is it just me that crawls up your ass sideways?”

I nearly spit out my juice as I coughed laughed, “just you, I’m normally a lot more lady like  if you can believe that” I wiped my nose with the back of my hand, removing the juice that trickled out of it.

He nodded, “yes, I see just how lady like you are,” he chuckled as he rinsed his now empty glass and set it in the sink, shaking his head and turned walking towards the door.

We pulled up to the café and he got out, again opening my door and extending his hand to me, I arched a brow to him and stood, “haven’t aged from the first time you tried that, do you really want to touch me so badly, I’m starting to think you are a pervert.”

His green eye twinkled this time as he smiled, “coming from you that just might be a compliment, not sure though,” he chuckled as he shut the door to the car.

He followed me to the café’ door, and I turned, “we aren’t open yet, not for another 30 minutes, so you’re not allowed inside.”

I told Josephine I would be leaving and they needed to get a replacement right away, though my mom still isn’t awake, my dad is here and Steve works for him. 

I finished my day and was taking the trash out back as Steve waited for me at the counter, watching me as I used my ass to push the door open.  The second I was outside and lifted the bag, an arm wrapped around my waist and a hand clamped on my mouth.  I was being dragged down the alley.  My mind went into fight mode, and I began to kick and wiggle, my only thought was I couldn’t allow them to get me into a car.  My heart was pounding in my chest when a man’s voice whispered, “calm down pup, we won’t hurt you.”

Yea, that’s what they all say, I’ve seen those shows on TV, I’m not going to be a statistic and my face on fucking telephone poles all over this town.  My legs kicked in every direction but connected with nothing.  My body was lifted and thrown in the back of a large SUV, with tinted windows.  I lunged for the opposite door only to find it locked.  I sat up and stared out the front window as the car moved out of the alley and into traffic.  My vision blurred and I tried to blink back my tears, suddenly the music blared out of the speakers with a heavy bass and the entire inside vibrated, making my stomach feel sick.  I looked out the back window to see Steve’s large frame getting smaller the further we moved away.  The tears flowed out of my eyes, I just got my family back and now I’m going to be lost to them forever.  I tried not to think of all of outcomes, but for some reason the thoughts of being tortured, raped and murdered just ran screaming through my brain.  I watched until the town was out of sight, and we turned into the forest, through a gate and pulled up to a mansion.  The door opened and I took my backpack purse and swung it at the man’s head.  He stumbled back and I got out and twirled as my purse swung at all the men that were surrounding me. My only thought was whoever the pervert is in that house isn’t getting me.  I heard Steve’s voice, and I stopped.  He took me by the arm and put me in his car, throwing his phone at me, “call your dad and don’t get out of the car, I’ll explain when I get back, but princess trust me everything will be okay,” he slammed it.
