Alpha Nico’s POV
I stand and walk to the window looking out over the pack. It’s taken so long to get our numbers up, we have just above 1000, and that has taken centuries. My blood line is one that is a direct descendant of the Moon Goddess herself, the very first werewolf to ever exist. I look out over the pack, “he doesn’t want to come here, doesn’t want to send the other wolf to me, fine, we’ll just bring his pup here, I’ll have a nice little conversation with her till he gets here then. I’ll educate her quickly.
I picked up my phone and called Phil, he and Frank work in the small town at a renovation site, they can swing by the café and bring her here and that’s that.
Phil answers his phone, “Alpha Nico, how can I help you?” This is how a wolf acts with their Alpha.
I cleared my throat, “there’s a pup in town at that little café’ near where you work, she tiny and blonde, bring her to me.”
He gulped, “Alpha Nico, what pup works at the café?”
I growled, “just get the pup here, take her by any means, but arrive here within the hour,” I hung up.
I watched out the window as the small blonde girl stepped out of the car, but I wasn’t expecting her reaction. I couldn’t stop my laughter as I watched this tiny girl keep my trained warriors at bay, swinging her purse, her body a blur as she spun, hitting them with it. I watched Phil stumble back as the purse made contact with the side of his head. Her choice of profanities had me almost rolling on the floor with laughter as she called them every name I’ve ever heard of and some, I swear she made up all on her own. Then a car rolled up and a man I didn’t know stepped out, I mind linked my warriors to stand down. I watched as the man approached and escorted the small spitfire to his car. I mind linked my warrior’s, “do not allow him in that car to drive off.”
When he tossed his phone inside at the pup and shut the door, he turned and headed to the entrance. I put on my stoic mask and blew out my breath.
I swung the door open just as the man was going to knock, “who are you?” I demanded as he lowered his arm.
He nodded, “Steven Watson, my boss, Bryce Caswell said your Alpha wanted to see one of us, so I’m here,” he looked around and stepped in.
I nodded, “I’m Alpha Nico, that entire scene outside could have been avoided if your, boss would have listened and sent you here earlier, the pup wouldn’t have been touched.”
He stopped at stared at me, “touched, who touched her,” he demanded.
I shook my head, “obviously no one could get near her, or didn’t you see what I just saw.”
He chuckled, “she's feisty,” he smirked and followed me to my office, he sat looking around the room, “so you’re the Alpha, never met one before, you’re younger than I’d expected.”
I cocked a brow and sat back in my chair, “you don't know anything about packs, pack life, hierarchy in the pack or much at all do you?”
He shook his head, “not really, we were never in a pack, never new any existed and never expected to find any others like ourselves, but here we are.”
I nodded, “Now, let’s start with where are your parents?”
He shrugged, “don’t know, I was found roaming around a forest and was brought up in a forester home. I met Russ and Bryce in school and we just all hit it off, I guess because we are what we are we felt at ease with each other.”
I nodded, “you never felt any connection with anyone else, like you did with them?”
He shook his head, “not until Bryce mated with Catalina and then when they had Amelia, I felt it with them too.”
“Amelia, the spitfire outside, how old is she?”
He smiled, “our princess is 17,” he sighed, “her mother took her away from Bryce about 15 years ago, I’ve been tracking them ever since and now all this is happening, it’s overwhelming him, he didn’t need his child kidnapped, you’re quite an asshole kid.”
My hands slammed on my desk as I stood growling, the windows shook as the desk cracked and I watched as the man flinched in front of me, raising his hands up in surrender, “for fuck’s sake kid, relax, you got some powers there don’t you.”
I stalked around my desk glaring at him, “my name is Alpha Nico, not kid, you will address me with respect or,” I cocked my brow, “I will not hold back my power with you again.”
He pressed his lips together, “you were holding back,” he bobbed his head, “impressive, but you’ll need to excuse me, I’m not accustomed to pack life or any of this, neither is Bryce, Russ or Catalina and Amelia she is in the dark, unless her father is telling her right now.”
I glared at him, “ignorance is no excuse for your blatant disrespect, especially since I already told you who I am, tread lightly Steve or that young pup out there may be driving herself out of here and you may find I’m not so much of a kid.” I arched a brow, “do you not have a wolf, or do you just ignore him?” I sat back down and stared at him, “why did this Catalina leave her mate and take their pup with her?”
He shrugged, “from what we knew, her wolf was driving her crazy and she snapped.”
I nodded, “Bryce and his daughter belong to our pack and Catalina since she is mated to him, you and this Russ can join with us, to ensure the pack bond, keep your wolves happy and healthy.”
I nodded, “okay, we live in Florida, not here, so how’s that supposed to work, we have a thriving business down there and we enjoy the tropical weather, but good to know we are welcome, so if that’s it, I really need to get Amelia to her parents, you know her mother is not doing well and she needs to be there.”
I nodded, “from what I’m told, her mother will recover tonight, as long as her father does what he should have done years ago and avoided all this mess, but then again I wouldn’t have known of your existence or you ours, so perhaps it was fate that it happened the way it did.”
He snorted, “fate?” He shook his head, “none of them would agree with you.” I stood and walked with him to the entrance, he turned halfway down the steps “your fate was uncertain just a few minutes ago, you have no idea what would have happened if Amelia would have been hurt.”
Epilogue part 2Willow and Heavens adventure continuesOur food arrived and I couldn’t help but feel skeptical about eating the stew, Willow glanced over at me and giggled, “that’s why I order like a 5-year-old, hard to poison a grilled cheese,” she took a bite.I arched a brow, “really, if they want to poison us, they can put it in the milk,” I took a long sip. “I’m just hoping this is beef and not human, that would be gross.”Her eyes widened, “ewe, how do you even think like that?”I smirked, “you’ve met my mother, she’s not always sunshine and rainbows.”Her eyes twinkled and she pulled out her phone, “now I have to call Sunshine and Rainbow, you can talk to your brother also, that is if Rainbow and he aren’t you know, busy,” she wiggled her brows and giggled. She moved her phone up, down and to the side, “funny no service,” she shrugged, “must be a dead zone in here.”I chocked on my stew, “dead zone, really can you watch what you say.” She tilted her head at me as she pushed he
Epilogue part 1Heaven and Willows adventures“Whoa, where did you transport us too,” I spun around in the middle of the street looking at just a few battered old Ford trucks that look like they haven’t been running in over 100 years. The street was hard ground, not paved, there were no sidewalks, and all the buildings were wooden. It looked like an old town from the wild west before civilization as we know it.Willow giggled, “don’t know, just envisioned an old creepy town, who knew there actually was one.” She skipped towards an old-time building, “come let’s see if they have food, or if anyone is even living here.”“Willow, wait up,” I shook my head and used my werewolf speed to stop her before she threw the doors open, “why don’t we look in the window first, I hate just walking inside some creepy place without knowing what’s inside.” She rolled her eyes at me, “Gods, just because we fell into one bottomless pit, you question me all the time.” She pushed by me and swung the s
Alpha Nico’s POV 20 years laterThere were now three additional packs, it seems that the pups birth brought more joy to the world instantly and within a couple of years after our pups were born, we were multiplying at an alarming rate. The pack in Italy had also begun to multiply and with our guidance started a pack in France. Writing down everything that has happened from the last 200 years is a daunting task that we stared during our hunt to the others. When the dark war ended and most of our books were destroyed by fire or ruined by the water Amelia had used to put out the fires with, everything needed to be written down as best we could remember. The newest addition was the mixed breed that has now formed, females have additional power of the breed with their witch capabilities, and the aging process is different as well. We needed Lily’s guidance on what to expect from the pups, when their power would surface and so on. At 2 Heaven started showing signs of her abilities and
Amelia's POV“Oh, dear goddess make it stop,” I screamed as I glared at Nico.He wiped the sweat from my brow and chuckled, “I can’t my love, I wish I could, but it seems this is natural for…”His words were cut off as the hail finally stopped pelting the window of the birthing room and now the sun was blaring outside. I let out a breath as the contraction finally ended, “I didn’t realize when Lily said things would be strange during birth she meant this.” My mother’s voice came from the other side of me, “sweetheart, you’re doing great, but this is only the beginning, this could last for hours even as much as a day,” she bit her bottom lip.My eyes widened at her, “No, that’s not possible, this weather it’s crazy, the pack must think the end is coming.”Nico shook his head and held my hand as the sky became dark, “here comes another.” As the words barely escaped his lips another contraction hit, this time lightning lit up the sky and thunder rolled so loudly that the building shook
Alpha Nico’s POV The next few months were exhausting developing the inner works of a new pack and the newly formed Elder’s guidelines took its toll. Until one morning when Amelia jumped out of bed over me and sprinted into the bathroom. I followed only to find her throwing up into the toilet, we’re werewolves, we don’t get sick, so this isn’t right. My only thoughts were that someone had tried to poison her, as she wiped her mouth and flushed the toilet. I scooped her up into my arms and ran as fast as I could to the hospital. Bursting through the doors, I roared for a doctor to hurry and find out what was wrong with her. It’s common knowledge that she is with pup or at least she should be, but the doctor looked at me as if I was stupid. Dr. Reece smiled sweetly, “it’s morning sickness, Alpha Nico, it’s common at this stage, it should last about one to two months, the Luna is fine and so is the pup.”The growl that left my chest shook the windows, “check her and my pup, this
Amelia’s POV We sat and talked about the pack, about Alpha Ellison and how to proceed, not only for our species but with our own lives. Being the Blood Moon Luna I carry more authority than even Nico, not that I’d ever enforce that with him, but we are both aware of it, but my brother on the other hand doesn’t see it that way. I mind linked my parents to meet us at the packhouse that Ellison had built. As we walked up the steps, I was ashamed of how elaborate it was on the outside, but the inside was even more so. I couldn’t understand how my parents raised him this way, but then again it isn’t always how you’re raised as a child, but the choices they make as adults show who they’ve become. “Alpha Ellison,” I said with a bit of disdain in my voice as I looked around the foyer with its antique furniture and overpriced artworks. “This is way beyond what I was expecting, it’s too much,” my voice had a hard edge to it.He waved his hand nonchalantly, “it’s just a few trinkets,” he
