Raul’s lessons 4: Trust is a two-way street
Raul headed over to Ella’s house early the next day, hours before his resumption time. He was lucky to find her still in her nightdress. She smiled on seeing him at the door looking desperate.
“I knew you would come.” She smiled and took a set in the kitchen sipping from her cup of coffee. “Need coffee?”
“No thanks; this is important,” Raul replied following her behind. He stood across the kitchen table gazing at her. “Your father said you have some information for me.”
She smiled and then reached for the papers on the table which she tossed towards him. He picked it up and scanned through the front page briskly.
“What do you see?” she asked in curiosity.”
“I see…” he was turning the pages and then paused at the sight of something that looked like Hayley’s picture in one of them.

Raul arrived home from work that night with Betty. He met Virgil sitting outside the house listening to some music and playing hand-held video games. On seeing him he remembered what Ella had told him the previous day.
