Tom did not think that it was a good idea for Yutti to make changelings of the humans at will even if they wanted to become werewolves. He believed that there were procedures to be observed before a human would be turned.
He gazed at Yutti and smiled as he welcomed the new members. He then called Yutti and Balaam aside while they were with the boys and the others.
“What do you think you’re doing making changeling at this perilous time?” Tom yelled in a whispering voice.
“They wanted to fight with us,” Balaam argued.
“Yes, and they insisted to become werewolves,” Yutti added.
Then Tom turned to face him and continued. “Listen child; just because you can make werewolves doesn’t mean that you just turn anyone who admires our way of life. What if they are spies of the president or even worse, dangerous and want to use the form to cause trouble like the priest is doing now?”
