The Pursuit for Answers: throwback
Raul and his friends have living comfortable lives in the world of humans. It is almost as if they had completely forgotten the real purpose of embarking on this trip in the first place. They all go partying at night with Claire; they go to the movies, they go shopping and Raul even got a job with a nearby restaurant as a waiter while Kal and Virgil just did nothing.
A few weeks earlier…
Raul and Virgil had gone to sleep that night and Claire returned home with Kal at about 4 am. They were excited and crept in to avoid waking up the others. They slept in Claire’s room.
Early that morning, Raul was the first to wake up. He was heading down to the kitchen when he noticed Claire’s door was slightly open. He quietly approached the room and took a peek to find Kal and Claire cuddled half-naked in bed and fast asleep. He shook his head in disappointment and went to the kitchen for a glass of juice.

That night while the other partied, Raul found his way, using his sense of smell and following Virgil’s directions to locate the hideout of the werewolves in the city.He had to ditch Claire’s friend to be there. He had her in his bed and had drugged her drink so she would fall into a deep sleep to buy him enough time to find them. She was fast asleep when he crept out and transformed to allow him the speed he needed to beat time.He had planned it earlier with Virgil who had given him the pills to use in making her fall into a deep sleep. It worked, and since he was not at the club with the rest which she agreed to, it was easy to actualize his plans.He was able to find the group and in his werewolf form, he approached their circle slowly. They watched him, ready for a fight. The alpha of the group came forward and realizing the werewolf was not there for a fight, asked in a calm voice.“Who are you; and why are you here?”

Ella paused, gazing at him. She liked Raul and hoped that he would like her too. She was amazed to see that he was rejecting her so she devised a strategy.
