The priest was preparing his potion and conjuring using his magic to work on a disguise for Stacy. She lay down on the platform he had put in place for her and had put her to sleep while he was performing his magic.
Modi and Flint were still tied up in his lair but they could not see what was going on. The priest had secured the area with curtains to prevent anyone from being able to view the room and what he was doing. Modi and Flint were both gagged and their mouths tied too. They used eye language to communicate most of the time since they were able to understand each other very perfectly.
A few hours later and the priest came out of the room sweating profusely. He had taken a lot of time to create a suitable disguise for Stacy. He was panting as he approached Modi and Flint to take a seat beside them as he always did. He grabbed open a glass of water to quench his thirst and relax. He raised his head to find Modi and Flint watching him in silence. He knew that they
Stacy headed into the wilderness through the outlands and to the world of the originals in her new look. It took her about 5 days to arrive in the city as she was not a werewolf and did not have the ability for speed. She got to the entrance and saw military men at strategic places searching and checking citizens as they arrived at the city. Stacy was a little uncomfortable as she approached them because she was most wanted but she had a mission to complete plus, they may not be able to recognize her in her new look. Stacy approached the checkpoint and was about to walk past when a military officer stopped her. “Hey, you! Old lady.” Stacy paused and turned to gaze at him slowly. “Yes, son.” Her voice was shaky like she was an old lady in her sixties. The military officer approached her holding a device and placed it to her face. The device began scanning and Stacy was silent, hoping that she is not found out. “What is this, son?” she a
Stacy loved Hayley’s smile as it made her look even more beautiful despite her weight loss as a cause of the pregnancy. She wanted to seize the opportunity to find out who Stan was to her and she had just the perfect question to begin the conversation.“Is he the father?” she asked.Hayley seemed a little lost. “Who?”“The guy you were with?”“Stan?” Hayley scoffed. “No!” she responded between chuckles. “Stan is just a friend.”“It seemed more than just friendship when I saw you two together.” Stacy was being nosy.At this, Hayley wondered if she was spying on her and asked. “What; have you been spying on me?”“Oh no!” Stacy raised her hand in the air in her defense and said to change the subject. “I just loved the way you two were connected. Forgive me for prying but it was not intentional.”“Wher
Raul was in his lair, given to him by Lucas chatting with Hayley on a video call. She was excited to hear from him and they were catching up. She told Raul all about the new friend she had made earlier. Raul listened to all of her and was happy for her.“So what is her name?” he asked again.“You already asked me like twice now. What is it; or aren’t you listening to me?” Hayley wondered.“I was but I missed the part where you mentioned her name. I’m sorry; don’t know why.” He chuckled.Hayley rolled her eyes and replied. “It’s Bridgette.”“Bridgette? You seem excited to meet her.” he teased. She smiled and said nothing.“You say that she’s an old lady?” Raul was being inquisitive.“Oh yes; she is in her sixties.”“Wow!” Raul was amazed. “Have you got a picture of her?”“N
Raul thought about what Lucas had said, he knew that he was right. Lucas knew that Raul was beginning to see some sense in his conversation and was convinced that he was still the same person. Then Lucas continued. “But so are you a brother to me and I will do same for you.”tAt this, Raul smiled at him.“I know that you are hurt but you must trust your instincts in this matter. What does your instinct tell you?”“That the priest might be up to something,” Raul replied. And?” Lucas persuaded.Raul thought for a while and replied. “Well; that Hayley is innocent and I might just be blowing things out of proportion.”“So what do you do now?”“Call Hayley to verify the information.”Lucas nodded in satisfaction and smiled at him. He tapped Raul on the shoulders. “Let us go inside. I came to get you so we could talk about other important matte
Raul was still thinking about the situation. He had lost sleep. He had not communicated with Hayley since then and Hayley on the other hand had not called in. she had little problems relating to her pregnancy which prevented her from making contact with Raul or anyone else for that matter. So, Raul thought that she was actually guilty which was why she never called in. to him, it was all falling into place.Raul lay down in his lair hoping and waiting to be contacted by Hayley but unfortunately, he wasn’t. He picked up his phone and gazed at it. He scrolled down the call log to Hayley’s number and made to dial her number. He was contemplating within himself whether or not to contact her or just hold on for her call.It has just been a day without hearing her voice. He lay in his bed holding his phone anxiously and waiting for her call, hoping that she would call. He waited and it felt like he has been waiting for hours whereas only thirty minutes had passed
Raul picked up his phone and gazed at it to see that it was Hayley calling back. He gazed at Muna who smiled at him and shook his head in refusal.“I will not take it.”“You must sir. You have to hear her out. Sometimes our curiosity just needs a little conversation to answer the questions or doubts lurking in our minds.” She responded. The phone kept ringing and Raul wanted to seize the chance to demonstrate his anger and carry out his revenge. But with what Muna said, he decided to have a rethink. After all, he really missed Hayley and wanted to speak with her.“Hey Hayley!” he smiled and winked at Muna who smiled back at him.“Hey! What’s going on? I saw your fifty missed calls and I was worried. Did something happen?”Muna saw it as her queue to leave them alone so while he was still concentrating on his phone call, she creeped out to avoid being noticed. She was happy to have accompl
“So there are no werewolves in your country?” the governor asked in curiosity.“I wouldn’t know that. There might be; they are probably in hiding just as the ones in this part of the world were only just discovered recently.” Stacy replied. The governor gazed at her deeply and Stacy could not focus her attention on anything else but the governor’s eyes. She was almost shaking for fear. She prayed that whatever plan the governor and Kara had against her would be revealed quickly so she can focus on the consequence part of it. The suspense was slowly killing her and she could lose control at any moment.“What brought you to our home, initially?” the governor asked again. “I recall you mentioned that your friend had moved to another country to seek asylum. So why didn’t you return home? What kept you back here and led you to our home?”Stacy did not like the question but she had to answer it.
Lucas steps out of his lair after a long video chat with his luna and son. He finds May standing and gazing into thin air deep in thoughts. His smile suddenly fades and he approaches her. she did not notice him coming until he tapped her gently on the shoulder to call her attention. She gasps in fright as she returns to the present and chuckles at Lucas. “Oh, it’s you, my lord. I didn’t see you coming.”Lucas turned to face her and replied. “I noticed that you were far away. Something bothering you? Something you’d like to share?”May sighed and replied. “I was just thinking about Modi and the condition with which we parted; it wasn’t good.”Lucas nodded slowly in agreement with what she said.May saw his expression and she felt slightly discouraged to go on. She exhaled and said. “Yeah, I know. I wonder if he’s still alive. I’m just worried.”“You miss
