Chapter 15- What Did You Do?

Lucern’s POV

In the blink of an eye both Jamari and Morgana disappear from the room, causing my heart to stop beating in my chest as despair threatens to take over me.

The sound of Kenji’s roar snaps me out of the weight of loss pulling me down, springing me into action. I grab ahold of one of Kenji’s arms, as Levi grabs the other, preventing him from attacking the Fates.

Fur begins to sprout on his arms beneath my hold, the sound of his bones breaking and rearranging filling the small room as he gets harder to hold in place with each passing second. While I am all for killing the Fates for what they have just done, I am not foolish enough to believe that I would stand a chance.

And neither does Kenji. Which would normally not be my problem, but if Jamari returned to find her Lycan mate killed for attacking the Fates, she would be heartbroken and I couldn’t stand that.

“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?” He roars at the Fates, his teeth snapping as spit flies out of his mouth.

“Oh relax.” Clotho
