Her eyes widened slightly at his thick voice and she trembled in his embrace.

He moved back to look at her and the sight in front of him was magnificent. She was breathing heavily. Her cheeks were a shade of red, the bruises on her face had faded away by the morning and her glowing skin was coming back. Her eyes fluttered open and he was hit hard straight on the chest as he gazed at her sparkling big eyes that were full of life.

His eyes lingered down to her swollen cherry lips and the urge to kiss her again was strong. He couldn't stop himself as he guided two of his fingers to her chin and his thumb softly rubbed her lower lip.
