Charlotte feels her stomach drop as Azraiel and her walk towards the woods. After what happens at the lake, the whole pack sympathizes with Kira, mourns her loss and theirs. As the crowd disperses, Charlotte and Azraiel make their way to the packhouse. Charlotte quietly follows Azraiel as they step out of the car and make their way toward Charlotte’s pack. Everyone is busy with their own work. As Charlotte starts panicking, Theo stands up and comes to her. “Relax! “Relax, Charlotte!” Theo says to her and pats her back though his eyes are stuck on her claws. “Can you stand?” Theo offers her his hand. Breathing heavily through her mouth, she tries to stand up, worried that she has stopped her imagination mid-shift. Azraiel stares at the table in front of him blankly. He is currently sitting in his office at the pack house waiting for Theo.
