A Fall From Grace

Oriana's P.O.V

After my request was granted, my position was stripped from me immediately. Armand made sure all the servants in his house stopped calling me his Luna. He took Jessica before them instead and asked them to call her their Luna, saying she was his one true love and only mate.

He told them of their wedding plans and instructed them to love and honor her. How was I aware of all this? After Armand accepted my request, he came with some guards and threw away my things from the majestic quarters I used to live in.

"If you're going to stay under my roof, be prepared to live and work as my servant. You're no longer my Luna," he said coldly. As he showed me to my new room, he called all the servants to make an announcement. During the announcement, he introduced Jessica as his new queen.

The servants looked at me with pity in their eyes and could do nothing but feel sorry for me. I was now the Alpha's ex-Luna. After the meeting was over, Jessica called me out like a servant and asked me to make lunch for her. I did not disobey but bowed and left. "What did you say? I hope I'm clear enough," she asked as she made to pull my ears to make sure I heard her properly.

"Yes, Luna Jessica," I said, addressing her properly. "Good. Now get out of my sight," she ordered, holding hands with Armand. "I serve you alone, Luna Jessica," I said again as I took my leave without looking at Armand's face. I already felt hurt, and looking at his face would have triggered something inside me. I started to cook something for Jessica to eat, trying to be as fast as I could.

After the meal was ready, I dished it out and served Jessica, who sat in the living room with Armand, watching the news about his company. Armand had taken over his father's company and became the owner, running it perfectly with his vast intelligence and expertise. They sat on the couch cuddling. When I served Jessica her meal, she asked that I stand and watch her eat before leaving.

I obeyed as she ordered. I stood firmly, only to hear Jessica complain about her meal. She let out a sharp cry as she spat the food out of her mouth and asked for water. Fear ran through me because I did not know what would happen next. I did not expect it. Jessica got up to her feet and gave me a dirty slap across my face, leaving me in shock.

"Are you crazy? Do you want me to die?" she screamed. Armand stood by her side, trying to pacify her. "What did she add to your meal, sweetheart?" he asked inquisitively. Jessica didn't answer him but proceeded to toss the meal in my face.

I screamed and shook as the heat from the food touched my face-it burned me. For a moment, I thought I was going to die from the pain. "Go back into that kitchen and prepare me a better meal!" Jessica screamed, ordering me. I was still suffering from burns, but I picked up the fallen plate from the ground and turned to leave. As I was leaving, my super-hearing senses suddenly activated, and I could hear Armand asking,

"Jessica, do you know what was in the meal?" "Nothing was in the meal, great heart," she said with a sinister laugh. "I only wanted to punish her for staying." They both were unaware that I could hear everything they were saying. "She will leave here with some attacks," Jessica said as she shared her plans with Armand. Sadness filled my heart, and I held the plate tightly. I tried to hide my pain as they continued plotting. Armand and Jessica truly frustrated my life in that house.

I did not have any space to breathe. Armand always looked for fault in everything I did, and Jessica always supported him. One of Jessica's diamond necklaces went missing, and I was blamed for it. Armand and Jessica planned to send me out if it were not for a maid who revealed where she saw Jessica hiding it. "She didn't steal it, Alpha. Luna Jessica hid it in her room," the maid confessed timidly. "Be quiet! Who asked you,

tramp?" Jessica spat out in anger, furious over the failure of her plan. "I'm sure my Luna is not responsible for it. Someone else must have done it," was Armand's reply, though I knew he was only pretending.

They were planning to break me. After all the torment from both of them, I finally went to my room, fell on my bed, and cried my eyes out. My heart was filled with so much sadness. I could no longer stand Armand and Jessica's bullying. The torment was too much, and I was determined to avenge them.

"I tried my best to make you happy when we were together," I whispered through tears. "You made sure to break me and destroy every ounce of happiness I had.

I can't keep being quiet-watching you and Jessica use me as a foot mat. You will both pay." And that is exactly what will happen. "Oriana," Bella's voice echoed suddenly. Her eyes appeared from nowhere, and I turned around with tears in my eyes, only to see Bella standing beside me. Her rainbow eyes glowed as she said to me,

"You will get what you desire if you allow me to take over you." I sniffed and wiped my tears, sitting up. I was already in pain, so I accepted. "You have to think properly, Oriana. Are you ready to give your nice nature up for this? Are you ready?" "I am very ready," I said, my voice trembling but firm. "I don't want to be the good, caring, obedient girl anymore." I sniffed again. "What have I done to deserve this?" Bella stared at me.

I didn't know what was happening when she suddenly pounced inside me, entering my body with full force. My whole body shook as I tried to stay strong.

I could feel her presence in every part of me. "We are together now," Bella said as her voice echoed inside me. I lifted my eyes to the mirror-and my eyes shone like hers. This time around, I wasn't scared. I felt powerful.
