Ultimate Betrayal

My body shook as I saw Armand and Jessica kissing inside the room. There were tears swelling in my eyes. I tried to hold them back, but they came uncontrollably. My heart was very heavy. I overheard Armand and Jessica laughing and playing romance.

As Jessica told Armand, "Yes. I will marry you, sweetheart. I love you so much. I am ready to be your mate." She accepted his proposal and wrapped her hands around his neck,

kissing and romancing him immensely. It was our first wedding anniversary, and I was looking forward to this day-the day I would not just give him something that would spice up our marriage, but also make his heart beat faster for me. The gift I had prepared to give him was in my hand. It was an envelope.

I was pregnant, and this baby was his first child. He had never looked at me with love and admiration since his father, the late Alpha, made me his Luna. Armand always faulted everything I did and found every reason to make me cry.

The only time I felt wanted, loved, and admired by him was the day he made me a woman-the day we were intimate. I came to him with the result of that night, hoping that he would finally see that I was his one true love and give me all the love I desired. But who was I fooling? Jessica, daughter of Alpha Denzel of Blackstar Pack, and a famous model and gym rat, had always been the love of Armand's life. She was and would always be the love of his life. Even before I started seeing him, she was always on Armand's mind. And finally, as today was our wedding anniversary, she said yes to marrying him.

"You are my one and true love, Jessica. You are my true and only mate," Armand said as he confessed to her. He grabbed her by the waist and laid kisses on her, his lips moving down her neck. Jessica moaned with excitement and pushed herself against him. This particular sight broke my heart into tiny pieces. I just stood by the door and kept peeping through the keyhole. I shifted back and hit my back hard against the door that was close to my room. My little body was shaking. My lips were trembling, and I folded the envelope in my hands so badly that tears came out of my eyes. It was heartbreaking.

Where do I go? I cried as I tried with everything to hold in the tears I felt. Then suddenly- "What? So you've been eavesdropping?" a voice yelled at me, causing me to quiver with fear. I turned around and saw Armand and Jessica as they stood there.

"You shameless woman! So you've been spying on us?" Jessica complained as she came forward and hit me. I walked back to avoid her hitting me, and Armand pulled her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Sweetheart, you promised to dismiss her. What is she still doing here? And she is in our home." "Relax, honey. You do not need to worry about her. She is no one to me," he said as he trailed his hand down her hairline,

soothing her. "Are you out of your mind? Did I not warn you not to come close to my room?" he spoke to me harshly, and I trembled to understand his thundering voice. I became scared to tell him the main reason I came, but I was bold enough, and I spoke out. I reminded Armand that our wedding anniversary was today, and both of them laughed at me loudly. "Anniversary? It seems this idiot is not aware of what is happening around her. Tell her, honey," Jessica said as she boldly lifted her finger to show the ring Armand gave her.

Armand boldly told me he proposed to Jessica and that he was going to make her his Luna. "You were only an orphan, and you succeeded in making my father like you and making you my Luna. He just pitied you. I never loved you, so I'm righting all my wrongs." As he stood by Jessica's side, Armand stood in front of me and declared,

"I am Alpha Armand of Wolf Star. I reject you, Oriana." As he said that, a sharp pain came across my heart, and it caused me to shake. I placed my hand over my chest as my heart beat very fast. Armand did not care. He started to laugh with Jessica, and I watched as they both laughed and played jokingly with each other. I became jealous as tears started to flow from my eyes. I hid the envelope behind my back. "Oh, she's crying.

Idiot," Jessica mocked. "Armand was never yours. He was always mine from the start. What are you holding?" I heard Jessica's question with my eyes moving to see what she was talking about. I saw that she was referring to the envelope I was hiding behind my back. My heart started pounding.

"Nothing," I said, lying and trying to hide the envelope from them. Jessica, who wanted to see what it was, dragged the envelope from my hand. "No!" I said as I tried to snatch it from her. But Armand stood in front of me, his eyes shining with fire. My heart started to pound with fear as I looked at Jessica opening the envelope with trembling hands to read the details inside. Her face turned red with jealousy, and she beckoned Armand to come over and see what she saw.

His eyes grew wide, and he snatched the report from Jessica. I could see his hands shaking with sweat covering his face. I just stared, confused at what to do. "The test... you're pregnant?" Armand asked, his voice cracking and shaking. The look they both had in their eyes disturbed me, and I was afraid of what they would do to me. "So you were planning on hiding this beautiful thing from me?" he asked, coming closer to me.

His voice and tone became calm as he slowly walked towards me. Using my fear, I looked at him walking away from Jessica. I was confused, so I just walked backward. His hand came closer to my face, stroking it, and for a moment, my heart was happy. His eyes looked peaceful and soft on me for the first time in forever. Could this be a sign? Has my goddess finally answered my prayer?

I was happy-suddenly, to my greatest shock, Armand pulled on my hair with force and grabbed my throat. I began to choke. I tried to grab his hands to break free from his hold. "I will not allow you to give birth to that thing!" he groaned as he held me harder with force and gravity. I pulled away from his hold and ran from him. They chased me, and I ran. I kept praying, crying, and running.

When I reached the end of the stairs, I tried to race down, and someone pushed me forcefully, making me tumble down badly.

My body crashed to the ground, and I was unable to move. I slowly shifted my eyes to the stairs and saw Armand and Jessica staring at me with satisfaction in their eyes. "Help the lady! She's bleeding!" someone screamed, and that was the last thing I heard before I passed out.
