MasukOriana's P.O.V
There was a very strong smell of medication that came into my nose. It was irritating. I shook my head to chase the scent away, but it still came. Due to frustration, I opened my eyes. I saw myself looking at a different ceiling from the one I was familiar with. Where could this be? I asked myself. While I looked around, something was beeping. I looked around and saw a drip on me. I was attached to it with life support. "I'm in the hospital," I slowly said, as I forced myself to sit up. Then the doctor opened the door and came in. "Oriana, you are awake? Are you feeling better?" she asked, and walked up to me. "Dr. Ashley," I said to her, happy to recognize her. She was our pack doctor. She was the one that tested and told me about my pregnancy. She placed the back of her hand over my forehead and asked me to lay down and rest for some time. "You fell very hard and lost a lot of blood in the process. You'll be okay. You need some rest," the doctor suggested, and I laid down. When I heard her say something about me bleeding, I suddenly asked about the baby in my belly. "Is it okay?" Dr. Ashley stared at me and was mute. Her facial expression scared me, and she sadly said, "I'm sorry, Oriana, we could not save the baby." "What? I hope this is not true," I exclaimed, and my heart was already beating fast. She had to explain to me about how the hard fall caused a miscarriage that killed the baby instantly. "I know it's saddening to you, Oriana. Even though your husband was shocked at this news, he left in anger. I am sorry," she apologized to me while rubbing my back. When the doctor mentioned Armand's name, my mind flashed back to the scene where I fell, and I recalled his face. He was smiling. He looked happy. I held the bed and used the other hand to rub my belly, trying to feel the spot where my baby always kicked. That was my hope,Now it was gone. All gone. My lips were quivering, and my eyes started to fill with tears. Dr. Ashley tried to calm me down. I did as she instructed, by taking some rest for the few hours I had before being discharged. According to her, Armand did not want me to stay there for long. He wanted me home so he could comfort me. "You will need him to help you go through the pain," she said before leaving. As soon as she left, I was alone to deal with my pain. Despite being an orphan, his father received me, loved me, and made me his son's Luna. Before he died, he made me promise on his deathbed to never leave his son. I was beginning to regret why I agreed to his promise. I regretted it so much. Soon, my rest at the hospital was over, and Armand's bodyguard came to pick me up. Despite being very weak, I followed him to the mansion. I saw Jessica and Armand waiting for me. Both of them were standing at the entrance, looking at me with mockery in their eyes. They asked what the doctor had said, and when I did not reply, Jessica laughed and talked about my dead child. "That b*st*rd got what it deserved," she said, laughing and mocking me. My heart beat very fast when she insulted my dead child. I had wanted to fight her, but I was too weak. "Have this," Armand said, as he threw a piece of paper at my face. "These are the divorce papers." Shivers began to run down my spine when I heard what Armand had said. I looked at him, and he gave me a mean stare. "So after everything, this is what I get," I said, as I began to cry. After everything I went through in Armand's hands, it was time I left him for good. I took a pen and was about to sign when something shocking happened. "Do not sign those papers, Oriana," a harsh female voice ordered me, and it planted fear in my heart. I stood up on my feet, looking for who spoke. "Who is that?" I asked, shaking where I was and turning around. The moment my eyes looked in the mirror, I saw a pair of shiny eyes staring at me. I almost fainted because I was afraid, and I screamed loudly, my belly rumbling and my body shaking as the shiny eyes caused some kind of pain. When I had the boldness to stare at it again, I was shocked at what I saw. It was a big black wolf staring at me. It later smiled and said in a nice voice, "Do not sign it, Oriana. Those are not our ways." Its eyes shone brighter. I was afraid of the presence of this wonderful creature in the room. Its aura was magnetic, and its eyes were shiny enough to make someone have nightmares. What was this, and why did its eyes shine like that?Prince Cole walked into the mansion and went to his quarters. Four men followed behind him to make sure he was heavily protected. He went into his room, and they stood in front of the room and by the windows patrolling till morning. Prince Cole still had plans to go see Oriana before sleeping. He walked to his shower, bathed and admired his body in the mirror. After some time, he sprayed some nice perfume. And went to see Oriana. He told his guards he needed some fresh air, meaning he did not want anyone to walk him anywhere. The door of Prince Cole's room creaked open. And he came out of his room looking pristine. His headguard was startled, because he thought the prince would be fast asleep. The Prince, you have a long day tomorrow. Should you not be sleeping? The head of the guard said. Prince Cole gave him a very stern look that indicated that the guard was barging into his business, and he was not happy with that. He n
Is that how to talk to your prince? Prince Cole asked Jeremy, angrily. Jeremy ignored him and continued what he was doing. He pretended to use his shoes to stomp some ants on the floor. Are you crazy? Am I not talking to you? Prince Cole asked Jeremy. And before anyone could say Jack, Prince Cole yanked up Jeremy in the air and threw him high up. And he flew to the skies and landed on the floor with a heavy thud. I knew you and your so called fawn Alpha did not like me. I sensed this from your body language the day I came here. Jeremy was too weak to stand up from the punch. Cole gave him a Lycan's punch was 20 times worse than a normal werewolf or human’s punch. It sent him spiraling weakly. Cole looked at him and proceeded to continue what he was saying. Your pack is a little thing compared to what my father has and the pack I will rule when the time comes. Why would I be interested? Besides, you should even be grateful.
After a long and stressful journey, Oriana and Lycan Prince Cole reached the pack's mansion. Oriana was held down from the carriage like a lady. Even when Cole was stained with blood and wounds, something Armand would never do. She came down, blushing. Cole gave her a peck on her cheeks before proceeding to question the vampire. He did not want to see the gruesome incident because he knew it was going to be brutal. So he excused himself. Sweetheart, aside, here may be too bloody for you to see. Could you excuse us while we finish up this ungrateful vampire? Cole asked Oriana, politely. Oriana looked at Cole sternly, with boldness in her face. My prince, I have been in front of the battlefield for years. I have seen wolves from other packs being brutally wounded and dealt with. So blood is not a problem. Cole laughed with intensity and happiness in his voice. Oriana was really a tough nut to crack. You don't have to tell me,
The vampire, They had come to attack those vampires. Had no respect for anyone in the supernatural land. All the supernaturals had respect, apart from the vampires. The vampires did not respect or honor anyone and saw everybody beneath them. They always tried to attack Lycans when they got information that Lycans were traveling, or when they felt like Lycans were vulnerable. They had gotten it wrong. If there was any day to attack a Lycan, it would not be today when the moon was at its peak, and today was a full moon. The Lycans wasted no time to turn into werewolves when they sensed danger. And unlike normal werewolves, they have control of their senses. Whenever they turn, excuse me, my lady. It's time for some action. The Lycan prince said to Oriana, and excused himself to go fight off some vampires. He charged out of the chariot and his clothes tore. As his body rapidly turned into that of a werewolf, his arms became bi
The council elders were skeptical at first, but after much persuasion and certainty. He allowed Oriana to go for the patrol with the Lycan Prince. Jeremy did not like what he saw at all. He did not approve of Oriana going on patrol at the borders with this guy. The Lycan prince stood up from his chair, bowed to the elders and dignitaries, and exited the hall with his beta. When he reached outside the hall. He signaled his beta to call Oriana. From inside his beta went back into the party hall and called Oriana to come out and meet the Lycan Prince. Oriana was confused. Why could the Lycan Prince want to see her outside? By this time, it was getting late already. Luna, are you sure it's safe to go outside to the borders this night. Can I accompany you? Trina asked with worry in her voice. No, Trina, I trust him. He is a member of the Royal Family, and I doubt he is capable of any harm. Let me go hear what he has to say. Oria
The dignitaries that sat close to the Lycan Prince began to panic once he mentioned vampires. Everyone was aware that werewolves and vampires were not the best of friends. And also Lycans had supernatural noses. They can sniff out vampires, aliens and other supernatural creatures. They also had special healing powers from the Moon. They were blessed with so many abilities that the ordinary werewolves did not have. He kept smiling at Oriana, and Oriana kept her head down. His beta walked up to him and held him on the shoulder. Alpha, you've barely touched your meal. Is there any problem. Prince gave an eye look to Oriana. I am hungry enough for food, but for the fair maiden that sits across us, his beta turned around and looked at Oriana too. Then he smiled. The fair maiden, is she not betrothed to someone else? What does it matter if she is betrothed? My father sent me here to do our routine inspections. Does thi
