Elena - POV

I closed my eyes and concentrated on Letty's mind, attempting to unblock the memories cast on her. I could hear Janice's voice in Letty's head, but this time I glimpsed a fragment of the past in Letty's eyes.

{Letty's **Flashback** }

"Who are you, bitch? Huh? Let me guess, you're Jake's new whore? That asshole used me as a pawn and threw me away like trash. I'll kill him." Letty growled in a fury. I observed Letty's hands bound to the chair, and the surroundings looked familiar. I glanced at Jake, who appeared furious as he stared at Letty.

"You're still a hot-headed teenager, dear sister," Janice said. I noticed a surprising flicker in Jake's gaze as he looked at Janice.

"What the fuck are you saying, bitch?" Letty hissed.

"Little sister, do you still blame yourself for that fateful night?" Janice asked with a smirk. Letty's eyes turned cold as she stared at her. "I think your memories are still blocked. Allow me to remove the spell so you can recognize me."
