Miranda’s POV

Leaving Darren’s villa with my head in place up high, a promise not to return seemed more like a dream than a reality. It was far simpler to say than to do…while saying it for a second there I believed that I could do it.

Staying away even from the moment I stepped out was hard; upon entering the comfort of my homely car, I waited for him to run after me and apologize, if not for anything but for his wrong accusations and his mean treatment all this while.

I was waiting for nothing because he never came out nor did he send her out, after what seemed like hours of waiting… Emerald just couldn’t take it anymore, and I couldn’t even blame her, I had just agreed to move on without Darren, so he’d regret his decision and come back to me while on his knees, but here I was waiting., “We have to go now”.

it's not just grammar it is basic writing the who what when where I'd not in UT story at all it's like this charter did this then this. there's zero lead-up
