Chapter Thirty-One

Jasmime’s POV

“Are you not going to speak to me? Is this some sort of payback?” Alex asked me for the second time as we rode back to the pack house with Sheira behind us and Nana and the Beta in another car.

I looked at him through the mirror and he kept quiet. We got to the pack house and he insisted on carrying me up to my room but I refused Sheirs helped me instead but that also didn't hold what the pack members had to say about me as we walked past them.

“I knew that she was just acting to get the Alpha’s attention. That's low of her.”

“I hoped that she died anyway. She isn't important.”

“What do you think you are saying?” Sheira shouted after I told her to ignore the first one but they still spoke.
