23. I Give Up

I wasn't sure what was going through my head when I decided to sit naked in front of a guy I am highly attracted to. But as expected I was having urges to kiss him the money he started talking to me in his deep sultry voice.

Zane had no idea what he did to me, what his close proximity felt like. I swear if he knew half of the things going in my mind, he would be creeped out.

When we played the game and he asked me about love, I was shocked. I never imagined that word coming out of his lips but there it was.

Not only did it shock me but it scared me, because I have already fallen in love with him once … I cannot do it again and get heartbroken.

Zane isn’t the kind of guy you’d date or imagine spending your life with. He is a player, and I know he cannot offer me the very thing that is most required in a relationship – loyalty.

He is a man in his prime, he has many options lying around. He will surely regard my feelings as a crush and make fun of me. I don’t want that… but
