Zane’s POV

“Oh Zane! You have grown up to be such a young man,” she exclaimed happily as if didn’t just see her alive after years, and that too fucking my uncle.

“What are you doing here? And how are you alive?” I asked her stoically, not sparing her any good manners.

“Zane, I know we haven’t met in a long time but there are some things I cannot disclose to you. However, I would love to know if you have met any of my children recently? How are they doing, Zane? Are they okay?” She begged me, and if I were a gullible boy I would have fallen for her beggar voice, but I knew better than that to trust a woman who stayed hidden from her own family.

I looked at her with a disgusted face as I said, “Like you care,” I scoffed and took a menacing step toward her, “Now, why don’t you tell me why you stayed hidden from your own family when you knew they’d need you?!” I asked her, my voice was like a cold whisper which made her look at me with guilt.
