She awoke from her dream about their kiss from the previous night just as the morning was beginning to set in. Because it kept playing in her head throughout the night, she eventually came to the conclusion that the whole thing must have been a dream.

When she opened her eyes, her entire body was in excruciating pain, and she felt herself becoming lightheaded. She was unable to get a good night's rest because her thoughts kept going back to the same thing over and over again.
