Taming the Meek

He mentioned my name and I was like a statue while holding the Sword. I could not move because of nervousness. I felt like I was at the end now, but he spoke again while his eyes were closed.

"I love you," he said as he closed his eyes.

I don't know if he's awake or if he knows what I'm doing. But I slowly lowered the weapon I was holding. I felt so nervous and my hands were still shaking. Suddenly my tears dripped because I didn't explain what I felt. I guess I carried by my emotions too much and I knew I was being aggressive. I shouldn't have sent my anger at those times.

I can't help but look at his face. If you look, this man is really very handsome. He looks like an angel, so it's hard to believe that he's hiding something evil. His red lips attract my eyes. I stared at his face for a few seconds. I took a deep breath and left his room.

"You can't feel it, Crema. Don't be fooled by his angelic appearance. Remember he mercilessly killed your family! He will pay for all the evil he did!" I said firmly to myself.

As I was walking down the corridor, I met Martha. I smiled at her and we said goodbye to each other to rest. I went to my room and immediately lay down on my small bed. I was just stunned on the ceiling while playing again in my mind what happened earlier and the word he said.

"He loves me? What does he know about love ?! "I said it emphatically to myself.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I was not aware that my tears were slowly falling until I fell asleep.

The next day I woke up because of the knock coming from the door. I immediately got up to open it. When I opened the door, his very handsome face and the very beautiful bouquet of flowers he was holding appeared in front of me. The sweet smile he gave me.

"I want to thank you for taking me to the room last night," he said with a smile.

"No need to say thank you, Alpha. I live here in your castle so I just have to be kind enough to take you," I replied with a smile.

"Whatever else you say, thank you," he insisted.

I smiled at him and accepted the flower he was holding. The joy he felt was obvious in his eyes. He invited me out to accompany him this morning. I said goodbye to get dressed for a while. I suddenly took off my clothes and saw the shock in his eyes. I smiled sweetly at him and approached him. But he backed away, and I laughed at his reaction.

"Why do you seem scared? Didn't you like what you saw?" I said seductively as we stared at each other.

"Get dressed and we'll eat, Crema," Alpha replied calmly.

I smirked while thinking about my next plan. I knew he was just pretending to, that he didn't want to. I can't believe he didn't covet my body. I wanted him to drive me crazy until he died when he found out I had betrayed him.

"How about eating me?" I said seductively.

I approached him and immediately kissed him on the lips. I felt his tolerance at those times. He was retaliating with a kiss and I smiled because little by little he was giving in. I know he is a violent and aggressive man. I need that so that I can see the stain of evil in his personality. Because he is actually the opposite of what I think. But I still do not believe what he showed, because whatever good he does to me, he can't erase that he murdered my parents. He mercilessly killed my parents and he cannot escape the truth.

But I was surprised when he stopped kissing and looked at me. I just stared into his puffy eyes and his red lips. He smiled sweetly and kissed my forehead.

"Choose me as your mate first before we do that thing, Crema. Come on and let's go out," he said with a smile.

I was swallowed by saliva at what he said. I was very disgusted with the kindness he showed me. I just wanted to admit the truth to him so that he could hurt me. I want to see how evil he is. Why does he seem to be taming me ?!

"A.. Alright, you take care," I replied to him, stammering.

He only answered with a sweet smile and I could do nothing but walk with him to the dining room table.

He invited his pack to eat and I really saw how kind he was to his members. I really couldn't quite figure out if the kindness he was showing was true or not. He handed me an apple with a knife. I smiled at what he did and he smiled at me, too. We had a happy meal and I don't know why I am slowly softening with his smiles. I shouldn't feel this because my plans can be ruined when I become weak. After we ate, he invited me to the place where the wolves were training in preparation for a possible fight.

"I'll take you around the castle. The Wound Woods are vast and I want you to see its beauty," he said with a smile. I just smiled at him while holding his arm.

When we arrived at the yard of the training wolves, I could see the fighting wolves. But they were obviously very comfortable with what they were doing. This place is very peaceful and any wolf would want to be settled in the Wound Woods.

We didn't stay long in the yard and we went to the library. I was amazed at the number of books and we toured the whole library. One book caught my attention and it was "Love the betrayer". He looked at it and told me the story that was written in the book, and he said he liked it very much.

"It's a story of infidelity and love. It's taken from the true story of the old days of wolves. Alpha Elias chose Aryana over his pack but he found out that Aryana had just betrayed him," he said seriously. I was swallowed by what he said. I asked curiously the reason for Aryana's infidelity.

"Aryana loved a Beta and she chose it more than Alpha Elias but they say Alpha Elias never lost his love for her until he died in battle" he replied seriously.

I gasped at what he said. He looked at me seriously and held my hands. We stared at each other for a few seconds and his eyes seemed to speak as he looked at me. And I was very surprised by what he did.
