We run inside the cave and blinding darkness invites us. I can't even see Jessica beside me. I look around and find no source of light. Even the entrance is gone. The only thing that's flashing are the digits of my timer watch in neon red. As they said, the timer has already started. Indistinct voices of people wave around. They are certainly the other students looking for their way. I take a step ahead and just then, the waves of something strange enwrap me. It's as if the air beside me is shifting. And it tells me I should duck. I do so and nothing happens. The energy disappears and a scream erupts under the darkness in front.
What happened? Finding no other way, I keep taking small steps until the air shifts again and this time before I can duck again, something hard and flesh hits my face.
