Dante’s POVAs we stepped into the hospital, the familiar sterile air and the low hum of fluorescent lights welcomed us. Dr. Maddison was on duty tonight. She spotted me immediately and walked toward us with concern in her eyes.“Alpha,” she greeted formally.“Dr. Blackthorn,” I nodded in return, wasting no time. “She was in a car accident.”“I’ll examine her right away,” she said, already motioning for a nurse.
