I immigrated to the court hall to attend council meetings and found Ellyn and dad already taken their seats and also other council members and waiting for me.

They all stood and bowed their heads in respect as I took my seat and gestured to others to do the same. I could tell from their faces everyone in the court hall today wanted to ask the same query for which I have no answer now.

I turned to glance at my dad and Ellyn as asking them through the mind link. “Any new information?”

“No. According to our search party, his last location was his home, and after that, nobody saw him.” Ellyn replies, telling details about what the search party found out.

“Did they find another scent inside their houses or noticed something suspicious nearby?” I inquired further. There must be something: how would a fifty-year-old man vanish overnight and nobody noticed it?
