I WASN’T expecting them to come here. To be honest, when I planned on seducing Brandon to build a family with him and with Brent, I never thought of meeting Brandon’s parents even though he once talked about them.

When they arrived and told me they were Brandon’s parents, Donna excused to let us talk, taking Brent with her for a walk. Now I was left here with them alone, drinking a herbal tea that Mrs. Moore especially made for me.

“How was the tea?” she asked.

I smiled and propped the tea cup on the saucer plate. “A little bit bitter but it’s fine.”

She gently chuckled and then turned her head to Mr. Moore. “She’s honest. Brandon’s ex-girlfriend always says it tastes sweet or delicious when in fact it’s bitter.”

“You’re right hon, I think she’s better than that woman.”

I feel awkward sitting in front of them while they compare me to Brandon’s ex-girlfriend. Aren’t they feeling that I am not comfortable talking about that? And, how did they know about…
