Chapter 10

ADRIA’S POV

Days passed gradually, and things seemed a bit normal as Lucien didn’t try so hard to reach out to me like he did when I just found out about his werewolf secret. I felt a bit better, though, but still, I felt weird that he didn’t bother talking to me or reaching out to me like he had always tried to.

Ladies had been tripping for him, and it seemed like they all knew that we weren’t as close as before, so they were trying to close up the gap and vacant space I left, by filling themselves in.

I got to class earlier than usual, and to my surprise, Lucien was in the class, but a female course mate was also there. Lucien was teaching her a few things and I could tell that it wasn’t really what she wanted. She had only planned it that way to get closer to him. She was definitely making a pass at him which was annoying.

I had been noticing different girls trying their luck at him, and it was so disgusting to think about. Worse was that I didn’t like the feeling I
