Loriah’s PoV

Three days and no news. Draco has started to suspect Travis as well. He put someone to follow him and he found out he was pissed. He said that if he does not trust him, he can no longer be his Beta. Draco told him that he was right and named Ralph, one of his cousins Beta. Travis left fuming, but left Emma behind which was strange if she was his mate.

"Emma, you can trust me," I asked the scared young woman. "Is Travis, really your mate?" She lowered her eyes her cheeks turned scarlet red. She is not, but he was so sure that she would maintain this charade.

"Did you see anything the night Brea was kidnapped?" Her eyes went wide and she shook her head in denial. The fear in her expression was evident. "Emma, please. We need to save her. I will protect you, nothing will happen to you. Please talk."

Emma started to cry. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I checked the text message that was sent from an unknown number. 'I got Brea. If you want her alive, you will need to

Draco’s PoV The moment I realized Travis was behind all of it, I knew he was going to try to lure Loriah out of the pack. Loriah’s father suggested putting a chip in her using the latest technology of his company. He had chipped his wife long ago, fearing she might get kidnapped. Ironically, he never chipped Marla but did so with Aria after just a few days of getting her back. "Are you sure of your plan? Will it work?" Alpha Magnus asked. The agony of the wait was killing us. He had just finished calming down Luna Layla. The Doctor had just checked her and told them she was pregnant. Such good news, clouded by Loriah and Brea’s kidnapping. "It will," Leon answered. He looked like he had aged at least 10 years. Our plan was risky, but it was our only chance to get them both back unharmed. Every minute without Loriah felt like a bullet train running loose. It was lucky that Alpha Magnus controlled all the surrounding technology. If those bastards weren’t using burners, we woul

  • Alpha’s Little Plaything    95. I will Bring Her Back

Leon's PoV "Someone Fucking check the cameras!!" I yelled feeling my heart being torn apart. My very soul has been snatched from under our noses. Brea, needs to be alright. I would never forgive myself if something were to happen to her again. "Do you think Richard’s people took her? " Loriah asks in a whisper. She looks pale and she's trembling. Draco puts an arm around her. I don't fucking know who took her but she fought fiercely. She must have been terrified and where had I been at the time? Sulking at the bar. "Where's fucking Travis!" Draco growls. His men told him he was gone, that his mate had an emergency. A mate that none of us has met yet. We went to the camera room, and almost thirty minutes of footage was wiped clean. Loriah’s knees buckled. Draco hugged her tightly as she buried her face in his chest crying. Marcus had already arrived and had ordered the cameras from every nearby traffic stop to be checked. Many guests left during these thirty minutes, inclu

Brea's PoV I woke up feeling as if my head was going to split open. I tried to move my arms, but they were tied to each post of the bed. My panic rose tightening my chest. The lights were turned on suddenly, revealing my two tormentors on each side of the bed. "I thought you would never wake up, sweetheart." Caspian Sterling grinned at me. "Travis, you bastard, you almost overdosed her. She’s not a werewolf." Caspian cooed with mockery. My heart was almost bursting out of my ribcage. They have been so close to me, and I didn't know it was them. They used masks years ago when they... No, I don’t want to remember. I suppressed those memories for a long time. I wanted to forget, but their tattoos were imprinted inside my mind, and that’s how I recognized them. When I did, I couldn’t tell anyone. I was so ashamed, guilty. "Let me go!" I hissed, pulling at the ropes. "We will, once your friend Loriah exchanges herself for you." Caspian laughed as he caressed my face. "We could

Draco’s PoV The rush of power between us as our hands joined was utterly overwhelming. It coursed through my veins like wildfire, grounding me and lifting me all at once. My wolf surged forward, pride swelling in my chest until it was almost unbearable. This—this—was what we had waited for. There was nothing in this world, no victory, no conquest, that could compare to the vast, infinite emotion of being bound to my true mate. To my Luna. To the other half of my soul. As I danced with her in my arms, I felt complete at last, I was finally whole. Loriah’s arms slid around my neck, her touch instinctive—natural, as though she had always belonged there. I lifted her hand and pressed a kiss to the delicate skin of her forearm, breathing her in. The faintest blush bloomed across her cheeks, and my wolf purred in deep satisfaction. Under the glow of the lights, the soft red of her hair burned almost orange, catching fire with every small movement she made. She was breathtaking—ev

  • Alpha’s Little Plaything    92. The Ceremony

Loriah’s PoV “There. You look stunning, sweetie.” My mom beamed as she settled the small tiara on my head—the one Luna Vanessa had insisted I wear. “You will step up as the new Luna of this pack, Loriah,” Luna Vanessa said proudly. “This tiara was worn by me, and by the Luna before me, in our ceremonies.” My throat tightened. “Thank you, Luna Vanessa.” “Marla never wore it,” Luna Vanessa continued softly. “She didn’t have a Luna ceremony. Draco’s wolf refused to swear himself to her. At the time, Draco was almost a shell of himself after you left. That’s what finally broke him enough to accept the marriage—but even then, his only condition was that Marla would not be named Luna.” Her voice wavered, guilt flickering in her eyes. “Alpha Roman and her have apologized to him—and to me—more times than I can count. “It’s all in the past,” I murmured, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. Later, after Luna Vanessa left to join the others, my father came to escort me to the ceremony.
