I scoffed at myself. I should have known better. What woman would jump in another man's arms after being assaulted? I briefly wondered if Patrick was innocent this time. Was he the culprit or the victim? Did he fall into her trap as well? What did he do to piss her off? But how come she was crying and tied up when I found her? What kind of scheme was she planning?

I glanced at the phone on the table again. She should've put that on the bedside table. She wouldn't record anything if it was so far away from where all the action would be. Unless she doesn't want us to end up in bed.

How disappointing.

I dropped my call and placed Patrick's phone on the windowsill. She won't stop until she destroys me... and ultimately, my sister. But didn't she realize that she was shooting herself in the foot as well? If she used this against me, so can I.

I sighed. I'll never understand her and her logic.
