Getting Her Fired

Mavericks POV

Hunter alerted me that my mate is in trouble. It’s a good thing that I am the owner of this building, and I have access to everything around here, including the security cameras. When I felt him being cranky, I knew it has got to be pretty serious, so I took out my iPad and I searched for her all over the building, I even went as far as searching all the private showrooms to see if she was giving a striptease to a client as usual, but I couldn’t find her anywhere in the building. Suddenly, I had a hunch that she could be outside the building. I don’t even know if it is my hunch or a tip from Hunter, but I decided to view the cameras outside.

Behold,

There she was, in the parking lot, creating a scene as usual. Of all the people to pick up a fight with, it just had to be Cameron. I think she is a magnet for trouble, she has a way of attracting unwarranted attention to herself. And if she is not careful about it, she is going to get us both killed. The fact that she is n
