Chapter 6

The whole evening I spent in my new room. I had lunch after two days at noon. I was so hungry that I almost died from hunger if I couldn't get to eat one more day.

All the time I was thinking about Dylan. He was so powerful, how could I match him? However, I decided to work hard for him.

'But what if he will not fall for me for the rest of our life? I'll be lonely forever.'

When I was in deep thought I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw that Ashar was standing there.

"Are you busy?" He asked.

"How can I be busy when I have nothing to do?" I replied while footing back to the room.

"I want to tell you something." Ashar let out while coming inside the room. He sat on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah, say." I replied while sitting on the bed.

"Did Alpha Dylan say something to you?" He asked.

"About what?" I questioned back.

"About your crown and mating ceremony." He said.

"Crown and mating ceremony??" I asked.

"Yes, you'll be our Luna very soon." He said.

"Ashar, I know we just met and we are not so close to each other but I want to tell you that I know I'm weak and what if something will happen beyond my imagination? Being Luna is a responsibility that comes with respect. Will I be your pack's perfect Luna?" I asked with an upset tone.

"Don't worry, Alice. You are not weak, you just need to level up your training skills. Dylan will teach you everything starting tomorrow." He assured me.

"He will?" I asked surprisingly.

"Of course, he will. Don't worry. I came here to tell you that tomorrow morning sharp at 8 am come to the dining hall for breakfast. Don't be late because your Alpha doesn't like them who are not punctual." He said while winking.

"You are a good person, Ashar. Very gentle and sweet. Thank you for being my friend here. otherwise, I would be alone." I smiled.

"We are friends? From when?" He looked stunned.

"From the very first time when you talked with me gently." I said and smiled at him.

"Okay okay, don't you dare say this in front of others. I have a reputation, you know." He said and I laughed at him.

"Now I should go. If you need anything, call me. Do you have my number? Oh, wait. You don't have your phone with you? I'll tell Dylan to buy one."

I nodded my head. Then he left my room.

I was all alone again.

After some time my maid Diva came and served me dinner. I told her to eat with me but she refused, she said Luna could not have dinner with her maids.

"If I sit with you, it would be disrespectful." she said.

"That's strange." I said while eating at the table.

After finishing dinner, I told Diva to go to sleep.

She nodded and left.

I was lying down on my bed. It was so soft. I was going to sleep in a bed after three days!

'I miss you, mom and dad. I love you so much. Why did you both leave me here alone? How can I live in this cruel world? I'm feeling so lonely.' I thought.

I didn't know when I fell asleep.

I woke up when I heard knocks on my door. I yawned and got down from the bed. I opened the door and saw Diva with a worried face.

"Good morning, Luna."

"Good morning, Diva. Why are you looking so worried?" I asked her.

"Luna, everyone is waiting for you at the dining table. It's breakfast time." She said worriedly.

"What time is it now?" I asked.

"It's 8 am, Luna." She said,

"Shit, I'm late." I said hurriedly.

Diva was shocked because I just cursed in front of her. I chuckled and didn't say more to her.

I took a shower. She prepared my clothes. Just like I wore yesterday, a royal dress. I wore the cloth and she began to set up my hair.

"Just do a ponytail, Diva. I don't have time for extra arrangements." I advised her.

"Yes, Luna." She agreed.

When my hair was set up, I went downstairs. I was super nervous because I was very late on my first day. And they said, 'The first impression is the last impression.'

I came to the dining hall. When I moved near the table I saw Alpha Dylan, Beta Ashar, Theta Xavier, and two other men sitting at the table.

'Why there is no other woman? Why am I the only one here??' I thought.

Xavier looked up and said,

"Ah Look who is here. One and only our young and beautiful Luna."

I blushed and stood beside the corner of the table because I didn't know where to sit.

"Come on, sit beside our Alpha." Ashar said while smiling.

I was shy but I had to sit beside him. Alpha Dylan was sitting on the head chair of the table, his chair was decorated with black and violet velvet.

I sat on his right side while Ashar and Xavier were sitting opposite me.

The other two men were watching me in shock.

"Here, Luna. They are our Delta Limon and Gamma Henry and she is our Luna, Alice." Xavier introduced us to break the awkward situation.

The maids came and started to place dishes on the table. When all the dishes were there I was dumbfounded, it was like a feast.

Everyone began to eat when they saw their Alpha was eating.

I was about to eat when Alpha Dylan said,

"You are late on your first day, I thought you are at least punctual but looks like you are a lazy woman. How will you become the Blood Moon Pack's Luna like this?"

I was stunned and turned my head to him. He was looking at me with his sharp eyes as if I had lost my first impression.

'He is insulting me again. But this time in front of his pack officials. Wow. Should I stand up and leave the table? But it will be disrespectful. I'm not like him, I can't disrespect my Alpha in front of others.' I thought and didn't say anything.

"It's okay, Dylan. She will learn everything in a few days." Xavier said and smiled at me. I smiled back at him.

"Diva will be your personal maid. She is our loyal maid. She will take care of all your doings." Dylan said while eating.

"I know that. I am a Luna's daughter. I know about those things." I said confidently.

"Good to know that." He replied as if mocking me.

After having breakfast Dylan and the others left the table without saying anything. But Xavier was still there.

Xavier told me that he would like to show me around the pack sides. I agreed with him and told Diva that I was going to visit the pack side and she didn't have to come with me, she could rest.

Xavier and I were about to go to the entrance when I saw a beautiful woman coming inside. She hugged Dylan tight. They were far from us but not that far that we could not listen to them.

I was stunned. And Dylan hugged her back while stroking her hair.

'Who is she? Is she his sister?' I thought.

"Dylan, why did you call me all of a sudden? I thought something had happened to you. You know how much I love you, right? You can't always tease me like that. I was worried about you." The woman complained.

"I'm totally fine, Livia. I have something to talk about that's why I called you." Dylan said with a soft voice while caressing her hair.

I was surprised when I saw my mate with another woman and talking so softly. I was looking at them with a broken heart.

"Who is she, Xavier?" I asked.

He was silent. I turned to him.

Then he replied,

"She is Livia. Dylan's chosen mate."

I was startled.

'CHOSEN MATE? THEN WHO AM I TO HIM???'
