Chapter 21

She returned early in the morning. She furiously moved toward Alpha’s room. While guards try to stop her, she gets in without giving a damn. She wanted an answer. Why did he do that? She entered the room furiously, and looked around. Conard was sleeping. She sat next to Conard.

For the first time, the sun rose there. Four months have passed since their marriage. Conard spent four months seeking revenge. Alex has to endure cruelty. She did not even venture out without Conard's permission. Why did he free her? When did she want that?

Every night, the scene was clearly visible in the light. She sat next to him. After looking at his face for a moment, Alex could not control her heart anymore and leaned on Conard's face.

Conard was awake but did not open his eyes. He was shocked to find her back. He cursed himself all night long. He was angry at himself. Why did he free her? How will he live? Will she return? Will he be able to see her delicate face again? This thought drove him crazy.
