LOGINOlivia’s PoV
Damian stood by the door. I could feel his wolf’s aura radiating possessiveness. If only I could mind-link him, I’m sure he does not agree with what Damian did to Vanilla. He was always so gentle to both of us. “I was talking to Adam, your brother’s ex Beta.” After his sister Katherine became Damian’s Beta, Adam moved to the Crow Pack where he is the Beta now. Damian scoffed, he and Adam didn’t have a good relationship, so I’m not worried about Damian discovering my lie. “What does that fucker want? He shouldn’t be calling someone else’s wife this late.” He said disdainfully. He had never liked me being friends with Adam or any man for that matter. He does not love me, but he has always been possessive of me. I scoffed, to him I’m just a possession, nothing else. I can’t believe how well he fooled me all this time. “He just came back from vacation and couldn’t get a hold of Katherine. He was asking me about her, and he invited me to his welcoming party.” Damian seemed to be satisfied with my answer and approached me, cupping my cheek. I moved my face away. “There is no reason for you to be jealous, Damian.” “I know I had no reason to be jealous. You only love me.” He smiled. “But I can’t help it.” His eyes darkened and I stiffened as he wrapped his arm around my waist. I did not want his touch. “You are mine Olivia. Never forget that.” These thirty days could not pass fast enough. Soon I will be back home. “I will go shower now,” I said, stepping away from Damian. As I took a shower my mind started drifting to events from the past. My father had arranged a political marriage for me. He was ruthless and threatened to send me to a restricted institution if I did not comply. He was so different than my loving and gentle mother. I refused vehemently. I wanted to find my fated mate. My father had no right to deny me that. When Stephen learned of my father’s intentions, he helped me escape. Stephen had promised my mother to protect me always and he had kept his promise to this day. My father was furious, but could not do anything against Stephen, after all Stephen is the heir to the throne. Father told my fiancé that I had become ill and could not marry him anymore. Ironically that’s how I will be going back, ill and defeated. I wonder if my ex-fiancé had eventually married. I never got the chance to meet him. When I stepped out of the bathroom in a silk robe, Damian caught me from behind. “What took you so long” He grunted in my ear sending eerie goosebumps down my skin as I felt his hardness on my lower back. He can’t possibly think that I… “Damian!” I gasped. Trying to take his strong arms off of me, but his grip only tightened. “You locked the bathroom; I was going to join you.” He said huskily. “You never did it before.” He sounded wounded. His hot breath fanned my cheek. Before, I would have melted into his arms, but I can’t hug the man I love anymore, not when he has caused me so much pain. Not when he killed Vanilla. “Damian… I don’t think we can.” I protested but he picked me up and laid me on the bed as he pulled off his shirt. His muscles rippled as he stood bare-chested looking down at me with eyes darkened with lust. “I’ll take care of, you. I know that you’re weak. I will be gentle.” I shook my head with wide eyes. He can’t even begin to imagine how my body aches, constantly, incessantly, and the last thing that’s on my mind is to have sex in this condition. Damian lay next to me saying sweet nothings in my ear, trying to coax me. Massaging my limbs and saying all the right things that now felt so wrong. I knew there was nothing I could do or say to stop him, so I just turned my face away as he started opening my robe. A growl of satisfaction escaped from his throat as he pulled both sides apart. A knot formed in my stomach that made me whimper. It was when Damian pulled me into his arms that the same violent pain he had caused me when I lost Vanilla came back with a vengeance. I writhed in pain as a frantic Damian shook me. “Olivia, what’s wrong?!” “Damian, please make it stop! No more, please! It’s killing me!” It’s killing my baby. But I couldn’t say it out loud. He does not want my baby; Vivian’s baby is more precious to him. No, Goddess, I can’t lose this baby, like I lost Vanilla. “Olivia, Goddess! This was not supposed to happen!!” He snarled. “Damian… it burns me!” What did he do to me again? I opened my eyes for a second as I saw Damian clutching his head with both hands. Damian you’re killing your son and your mate. I will never forgive you. “Lift the spell, Damian, I beg of you!!” I bellowed hugging my stomach. “Baby, I did nothing. I swear. I don’t understand why you are in pain.” My eyes became blurry with tears as I looked at his panicked face. My body started shaking and I felt it tearing apart from the inside. My baby, my baby! “Olivia, look at me. You can’t die! Listen to me, I can’t lose you.” You already did, Damian.Olivia’s PoV Vivian was almost hyperventilating when she planted herself between the Delta warrior and Ashley, who looked at Vivian weakly. Damian growled, angrily. “Stay away from this Vivian! This doesn’t concern you. Derek, take my brother’s wife back to her place.” Damian ordered the other Delta warrior as he waved Vivian dismissively, but Vivian was not one to back down easily. She approached Damian with a pleading look. “Damian, whatever she did, forgive her please. Do it for me. She has been very helpful to me during this time.” She gave Damian a meaningful look as she rubbed her slightly grown stomach. Damian seemed to realize something and ordered the Delta to stop. “Take that eye sore to the pack’s hospital.” He growled not even bothering to look at the broken Ashley. I let out a breath of relief when the Delta carried her out of the dungeons. Thankfully Vivian arrived on time. I can’t believe I’m thankful that my husband’s ex-girlfriend managed to stop the punishm
Olivia’s PoV Damian’s face turned cold as he gave Ashley a menacing glare. Ashley stood there acting like a pathetic weakling. She was such a good actress; if I hadn’t seen her true colors before, I would have pitied her. “Your Luna asked you a question, woman. Answer her!!” Damian ordered her. He stood there radiating Alpha dominance. Ashley immediately cowered. I truly believe she fears him somehow. She looked at me but quickly lowered her head, as she spoke in a humble tone. “Luna… I was tidying up the sofa earlier and one must have fallen on accident. It won’t happen again.” She stammered and looked at me once again to see if I believed her lies. “Is this what you call tidying up?” I scoffed as I pulled a pair of purple panties from behind the cushion holding it up with a pen and dropping them on the floor quickly, feeling my guts revolt. It was when I came back downstairs again that I found the offending garment sticking out from under the couch. They did it here, in m
. Damian's PoV Contrary to my better judgment, when Olivia asked me to bring Ashley with me, I didn’t hesitate. I’ve been driving myself up the walls unable to touch Olivia. I need to quench my desires somehow and she handed me the best opportunity. Ashley was straddling me on the floor, when I remembered to check the time. “Fuck!” I looked at my watch pushing Ashley away. It’s almost six, Olivia must be on her way by now. “Alpha, what happened?” A startled Ashley asked as she picked her clothes from the floor. “Why didn’t you remind me of the time?” I said icily. “I… I lost track of time too.” She said meekly as she blushed. I did not miss the small smug look on her face, even if it was fleeting. I gave her a cold glare. “Don’t ever think this is more than a convenient fuck, witch. You’re easy and available as well as good at what you do. Once my Luna recovers from the curse, you will go back to getting scraps.” She nodded, lowering her head. “Yes, Alpha.” She
Olivia’s PoV It didn’t take long for Damian to leave. This gathering is not his usual idea of fun. I was sitting alone as Katherine and Mrs. Agatha were still bringing out food from the kitchen. “Olivia, I have something important to deal with. It’s time to go back.” My eyes snapped onto him. I didn’t want to leave so soon. “Damian, I want to stay a little longer. Let Katherine drive me back home.” I asked gently. “And take Ashley with you. I don’t need her.” Damian turned to look at Ashley who was standing expectantly not far from him. She had been looking uneasy after the dog incident. Damian’s eyes lingered a little too long on Ashley and to my surprise, he agreed to both things. “Fine, Katherine can drive you back. Don’t stay for long.” Damian said as he kissed my hand. “I will be home by six. Thank you, Damian.” He nodded and turned to leave. Ashley walked hurriedly behind him looking nervously at her surroundings. She walked fast until she was very close to Damian.
Olivia’s PoV Three days later. These past few days. Everything has been fine. I have been resting at home, and I’m glad that, aside from feeling weak, I haven't experienced any pain. At least not physical, but every time I remember Vanilla, the void in my chest still suffocates me. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to her absence. Damian has been hovering over me like a mother hen. He got scared from the last time I got admitted to the hospital. He knows that if something happens to me, it would be the end of Vivian’s pup. I put a protective hand on my stomach. My own pup is at risk, too, and he is my only priority. I don’t wish anything bad for Vivian’s child, but why is he more important to Damian than his own child? Damian entered then with a plate of fruit. I was sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun rays. Watching the pack members going on about their lives like any other Tuesday. Whereas I lived in constant worry that Damian would discover I was pregnant and make m
Ashley's PoV I slipped out of Damian’s office like a shadow. I learned to become one when I was a slave in the black market. I had been whipped countless times just for simply existing, so I always tried to blend in, to become a shadow until it was engraved in my bones. Anything but being whipped, I hated it. My body shivered just thinking about it. I had resigned to that miserable life, where pain and hunger were my daily constant. Until he came. My Damian, my savior. When he bought me, he gave me a place to stay, and he made me feel needed and cared for. He made me feel alive again. He says my whole purpose is to serve him but it’s not a job when I love doing that for him. The only obstacle to my complete happiness is Olivia. I had stepped on their wedding portrait on my way out, the one Damian threw earlier in a fit of rage, and it shattered. I giggled. I hate how Damian always defends that woman. He always belittles me for her. The sooner she gets out of the picture the
