Prologue

“What are you doing? Move away.” I tried to push him but he didn’t even budge.

Instead, he pushed me to the wall and caged me with his body.

I gasped because of the impact, but he was smiling.

“You know you are my mate?” He asked and I look at him confused.

I know. How could someone not know?

The sparks his hand was birthing to my body can’t be ignored. His smell that was making me crazy and how it was getting hard for me to stop myself from taking a sniff of him can’t be denied.

He was a handsome man and how my wolf was ready to jump his bone confirm what he was to me.

“So what? I don’t want anyone in my life.” I replied determinedly and again try to push him as his closeness was disturbing me.

But he took my hand and place it above my head.

He leaned forward and sniff my neck making me clench my fist.

His nose nudged there and I close my eyes to not react to his ministration. But it was getting impossible.

His scent was making me go crazy.

“But you didn’t say that yesterday when you were crying my name while I was driving you crazy.” He said with a smirk and I open my eyes with disgust. How dare he blackmail me?

I have had enough of these mate dramas.

I won’t let him ruin my life again, and neither I will let him make me go through the same pain again.

I knee in his jewels, and he moved back groaning.

“Serve you good for thinking I am weak. Better stay away from me next time if you don’t want me to disable your weapon for a lifetime.” I throw these words and leave the room, leaving him writhing in pain.

I don’t care what he is.

I would never let this mate bond make me weak again.
