Chapter 25

Liam went to the bar to talk to Karl. “I’m so angry right now.”

“Yeah, but don’t you think you’re making it out bigger than it is?” Karl asked.

“Whose side are you on?” Liam asked.

“Yours of course, but were you really worried that she could have been pregnant?” Karl asked.

Liam had told Karl the whole story of what happened at the hospital. “Well after the coma, and learning her heritage, it did cross my mind. I mean stranger things have happened. I think it could be a possibility. You read the files.”

“Yeah and I think you are playing with fire. There’s reasons our ancestors made the rules the way they are.” Karl replied.

The delivery truck arrived ending their conversation for the moment. And it wasn’t a conversation Liam was interested in continuing anyway. It’s been 4 days since Liam walked out of the hospital.
