They returned home with the girl.

Drusilla went to the study alone, ignoring the two girls behind him.

Amelia still hadn't figured out what he meant by taking her to the auction today, so she could only put the matter aside for now and focus on the girl again.

"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you," Amelia reassured the girl.

The girl questioned. "Then why did you save me?"

"I don't know." Amelia shook her head. "I just think you are a little familiar and don't want you to suffer like that."

The girl believed most due to her sincerity, and her tone was no longer so tough.

"Then can you take me home?" the girl asked tentatively.

Amelia shook her head. "Sorry, not for now."

The girl's expression became stiff. She snorted and turned her head away. "Hmph, I knew you guys aren’t up to no good." In the end, the girl began to sob.

Amelia took her hand and pulled her onto the sofa. "It's not like that. Not for the time being, because I'm just a prisoner here too."
