Alexander's POV

"What do you mean, fifty million dollars, all gone?!"

I was in the family company’s boardroom. The CFO handed me the audit report, his hand shaking. The numbers burned my eyes.

I shoved the Supernatural Tech Times aside, but S. Moon's interview on it echoed in my head.

"Mr. Alexander, the project Ms. Lily was in charge of… all investments are gone. Wiped out," the CFO said, sweat beading on his forehead. "Not only that, she also used the family trust fund…"

"How much?" My voice was low, like a growl. The temperature in the room seemed to drop.

"Twenty million."

Dead silence in the boardroom. Only my ragged breathing. My wolf was roaring, wanting to tear everything apart.
