I spent the rest of my vacation with my family in Paris. I got familiar and got to know the rest of the family. I met my grandparents and also my twin brother's mate. I met the pack Gamma, Beta, Delta, and the Head Omega. I also spent more time with my twin brother and got to know him. He wasn't a problematic Alpha but he was feared in the pack. My Trip ended and it was time for me to leave. I promised to come visit some other time, I just didn't know when but we will be in contact of course.
As I was coming out of the airport, I spotted Dad holding a bouquet to welcome me back to Rome and my heart sank. How is he going to take the news of me finding my family? I was his only family here and I intend to never leave him behind. "Dad!" I rushed to him to give him a hug "Welcome home princess," he said happily "I can see your beautiful bright smile is back". After settling my luggage in the car, I entered the passenger sit at the front and also settled in. "Tell all about your trip to Paris and start with how you found your family" he starts the engine. I was in extreme shock. "How did you find out about that?" Still in shock He told me how he had people watching me over there to be sure I was safe and I told him the whole story about how I found my family from the beginning to the end without leaving anything out. "I always knew you were special," He said with a smile on his face "What have you now decided to do?" "Nothing dad, I am comfortable living here with you. I will go there for holidays occasionally" I could see how happy and satisfied he was with my response. When we got to the pack, I settled in my room and unpacked my bag before going out to see the Alphas. "Good evening Alphas" greeting the whole family with a big smile "Welcome back Shenaya, It's so good to see your beautiful smile again" Alpha Fernly, Aiden's mom said with a smile. H "Who knew a trip was all you needed" Lucy said with a big smile "It wasn't just the trip. Congratulations on your pregnancy" My blood ran cold and my face went dry "I'm not pregnant," I said more like convincing myself rather than denying it. "Your scent has changed, funny how you didn't notice that but go to the pack hospital to confirm" I looked at Alpha Leonardo and Lucy, silently asking them to confirm if my scent had changed. "Your scent has indeed changed" Alpha Leonardo confirmed and with that, I rushed like a mad woman to the pack hospital silently wishing I wasn't pregnant with the Alpha's pup. I didn't want him to think I intentionally meant to trap him with a pup after all, to him I'm just a LOW-RANKING WEREWOLF. I wiped the tears on my face thinking about the consequences of this pregnancy. I couldn't imagine the embarrassment my dad would have to go through. What would I say to people in the pack? What will I say to Aiden? How will I face Alpha's fiancée, Skylar? What will I say to Alpha's families that treated me like their own? How will I defend myself that I slept with my Alpha knowing he has a mate? 'There's no point in asking too many questions, let's get rid of this pregnancy' I convinced myself. 'You want to kill your innocent pup because of your foolishness?' Lily questioned fear gripping me Just like the Alphas have said, the doctor confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. I made a mental note to sue the contraceptive company when I made money because I could remember the morning I came to this same doctor for a pill. "Are you sure you want to get rid of this baby?" "As long as it is not illegal, I am very sure of it" I confirmed "I want confirmation from the father of your pup too, it has to be a mutual agreement between the two of you before I can proceed with the process" "What? Why?" "I wouldn't want anyone barge reporting me to the werewolf court for killing their pup unless this is a case of rape" My blood dried upon hearing this and my heart rate increased. "Don't w……" "Tell me my pup is fine before I kill you and your entire family" My voice died in my mouth when the door slapped loudly almost falling and Alpha Aiden walked in with the most deadly expression. The doctor's face widened and started shaking in fear, she looked at me with the most surprised expression not expecting me to be in her office to negotiate killing the Alpha's pup. 'I know this man is going to kill me today' I screamed in my mind. "I haven't done anything Alpha," She said with a trembling voice Alpha Aiden held my wrist tight and faced the doctor "If I hear anything about this in the pack, You will be thrown out of this pack without thinking about it twice" He didn't even wait to hear the doctor's response before dragging me out. The next thing I knew I was in the back seat of his car and he was sitting beside me. I knew it was selfish of me to try to get rid of his pup without his permission but I was so scared so nothing I could do about it. It was the easiest way out after all. He didn't say anything to me and I didn't try to say anything. I was just crying. Of all the people in the world, how did I get stuck with this particular Alpha? I couldn't understand what was happening as we came down from the car. This is the registrar's office. What am I here to do? I saw my dad and his family. I wanted to run towards my dad but his grip was so tight on my wrist. He dragged me to an office, I saw a lawyer who was already holding a piece of paper and a pen. Alpha reached for the paper, he didn't even care to sit or read the papers, he just signed straight. "Your turn" giving me the pen and the paper "MARRIAGE CONTRACT" was boldly written on the paper Marriage? Did I read right? I looked around to see everyone throwing me pity looks "Your father will cry over your dead body now if you don't sign these papers right now" he growled at me making me jump in fear. Tears came rushing as I signed the contract. Why am I here? Why didn't I stay with my family back in Paris? Why did I ever have a one-night stand in the first place? I knew I was in big trouble.Zoey's POV (10 years Later)Three years ago, everything changed. Everyone I knew got their wolves, a monumental rite of passage that marked the transition into adulthood for those of wolf blood. But for me, there was nothing—no surge of power, no howling spirit joining mine. The realization hit like a dagger to the chest: I was wolfless. I was sitting in front of the mirror while on the edge of my bed and could only see my reflection, candlelight started to flicker. My loose, thick, brown hair had fallen on my face framing it loosely, and my blue eyes gleamed fiercely, as they did when I was young. I became the most powerful witch in the entire region; a position that attracted both reverence and horror. But it wasn’t enough. My heritage lay heavily on my chest like a weight rapping me around the fingers that I was a witch – a witch whose blood ran thick with power. All charms, all enchantments, all lost sorcery of my forefathers was given to me in trust of the command. And yet, he
The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue across the rolling hills surrounding our pack lands. It was one of those rare days when duty could wait, and family took precedence. Since Leo expressed his feelings about being overshadowed, Shenaya and I had made an unspoken vow to ensure our pups knew they were cherished. Today was about them, about us. A day without war councils, patrol strategies, or territorial disputes—just a family date to remind ourselves of the simple joys in life. I stood in the courtyard, watching as Shenaya helped Zoey into the wagon. The little girl’s laughter rang out as her mother tickled her sides, her bright blue eyes shimmering joyfully. Shenaya’s red hair glowed like fire under the sunlight, her smile more colorful than any star. "Papa, can I sit up front with you?" Leo’s voice broke my thoughts. I had to look at him, he had messy black hair, and he looked at me with anticipation and apprehension. Leo had been more open since our conversation, bu
Shenaya’s POVThe warm scent of vanilla and lavender filled my room as I stood in front of the mirror, smoothing my navy blue dress. It was simple yet elegant, perfect for a family dinner. I glanced at the perfume bottle on the table and picked it up, I sprayed a bit more to mask my new scent. My hand lingered on my abdomen for a moment—a silent acknowledgment of the tiny life growing inside me. Today was special. Not just because I had something monumental to share about my career but because the second announcement would change everything for our family after going through so much chaos that could tear us all apart but we still stand tall regardless. The din of laughter and chatter greeted me before I even reached the dining area. The large room was alive with energy, the long oak table nearly groaning under the weight of plates and bowls of food. Isla and one of the Omegas were bustling about, adding finishing touches to the spreads, their faces glowing with pride at the beauti
LUCY'S POVThe cold, damp air of the dungeon wrapped around me like a suffocating shroud, but I didn’t care. Not anymore. Alenjro was shackled to the stone wall, his once-proud figure reduced to a trembling heap. His screams had dulled into a low, guttural groan after hours of torment. I pressed the hot silver bar into his back once more, and the satisfying sizzle of his skin made me smile bitterly. "No matter how much torment you give me, you will never get your wolf back," he spat out, though his voice shook. I chuckled darkly, crouching down to meet his bloodshot eyes. "I would have left you," I said calmly, "but your mouth wouldn’t allow it. You’re not in the position to torment anyone right now." He glared at me, but the fire in his eyes had long since burned out. Good. He deserved every ounce of pain I gave him. Every scar. Every burn. Anika stirred faintly in the back of my mind. My wolf, my constant companion, had been silent for far too long. Alenjro’s betrayal had shatter
Skylar's POVI stood at the edge of the forest, staring at the Crescent Moon Pack grounds from the shadows. My heart was heavy with a weight I had carried for years—a burden born of betrayal, power, and regret. The whole betrayal thing had scarred me, it drove me to chase power to fill the void left. In the process, I had betrayed everyone, hurt Shenaya, and nearly destroyed everything I once held dear, just because of Andrew's fuel for power.I feel so lonely, I live in isolation, no one talks to me, and I live as a shadow that was why I insisted on having Zoey around. Deep down I want to have a purpose too, I wanted respect but all the power I possess right now keeps radiating without using it. Watching the Roux and the Casaer family from afar for years, I could see the consequences of my actions. Aiden was no longer the man I once wanted. Shenaya, his chosen Luna, had become the Alpha I never thought she could be, so strong, commanding, and loved by the pack. And I, a rogue in spir
Shenaya's POVThe air was thick with anticipation as I prepared for the journey that lay before me. Aunt Belle’s hut was filled with the scent of herbs, their pungent aroma lingered in the air as she arranged them into intricate patterns around a large circular tapestry. The room was very heavy with energy, the air tingled with the magic that would guide me to Aiden’s mind where I would search for his lost wolf and his broken memories.“Shenaya,” Aunt Belle said gently to balm against my frayed nerves, “I hope you still remember that this is not a physical Journey. It’s a journey within your mind. It's a place where memories are intertwined with emotions and spirit. I’ll be here to guide you, but only you can reach him.”I nodded slightly as I knelt on the tapestry, and my hand began to shake. My thoughts kept drifting to Aiden’s face, his empty eyes when they looked at me. His eyes used to be very warm whenever he looked at me but now they are filled with distance which I hate so muc
