Chapter 11

I felt the rays of the sun on my face, and I stirred, opening my eyes. The first thing I saw was Theo's pectoral, and I was immediately reminded of our sleeping position from the previous night. The lack of snoring meant he was definitely awake. I looked up and met those pretty gold eyes of his.

"Morning," he said.

"Morning," I replied.

There's a saying that the best time to see a person's true beauty is when they wake up in the early hours of the morning. And boy, did Theo pass the test. His long, ebony hair, despite being ruffled, framed his face perfectly. The sleep lines around his eyes did nothing to hinder their beauty, and the stubble around his chin even made it look more prominent.

"I'm quite the looker, right?" Theo sported a mischievous grin, wiggling his eyebrows. "I don't blame you. Even I would stare at myself too."

I flushed at being caught, and I turned my face to the ceiling with a huff.

"Narcissist," I muttered.

"One that you seem to love." His chuckle rang in my ear
