Cade's POV

My father immediately dropped his phone in his pocket and he made fast strides to the office door with me hot on his heels.

Indeed, there was a dragon on our pack field but this one had a rider on it. He didn't look happy and I was pretty sure the Alpha didn't give a rat's ass about that.

“Information reaching us is that you have our children in your dungeon who were needlessly attacked and detained!” The rider said when he realized he had our attention.

I raised a brow at his words but knew not to say anything. The pack Alpha was here after all.

Father smiled at the rider.

“Needlessly attacked and detained is a serious allegation, rider. Tell me, where were these kids when they were needlessly attacked and detained? It would also help if you told us the logistics of this adoption, like time of abduction, the circumstances of abduction, all the good parts,” my father said and I watched the rider school his expression before answering.
