Chapter 0006

Martha's hand was holding the shower head as she sat down, and she was sliding it over Selena's body, letting the cold water flow over her youthful body. Selena stayed emotionless. After she was done, Martha let out a faint groan.

Showing no pity, the larger woman prodded Selena's body with her thick fingers, scouring and rinsing away any traces of grime. The feeling of the rough and unforgiving fingers prying open and entering her sex makes Selena feel sick and dehumanised.

The sensation of Martha's fingers pushing caused Selena to jerk in her shackles. Martha's fingers continued to swirl themselves in the small hole until Martha was comfortable that she had been properly cleaned. Selena squirmed as if she were a young child attempting to avoid taking a bath. Selena writhed and wiggled around in the bathtub to test the bindings that were holding her in place.

Martha, who had had enough of her opponent's struggle and resistance, angrily grabbed a little medical bag that was sitting at her feet. She rifled through the contents of the bag while fiercely cursing to herself until she finally emerged with a tiny silver syringe in her hand. As soon as Selena spotted the syringe glinting in the light that hung above the bathtub, her efforts to flee become more urgent. Martha shoved the needle firmly into Selena's arm and continued injecting the sedative until there was nothing left. She did this cruelly. After putting the syringe back in the bag, she sat down and waited for the liquid to have its course on Selena. She waited for the girl to become asleep so that her work would be made a little simpler.

As the sedative gradually worked its way through Selena's body, she moved with less energy, and her limbs felt heavy. Selena moaned as she struggled against the effects of the sedative. Her vision was becoming increasingly hazy at a consistent rate, which was growing with each passing second. Despite Selena's fruitless efforts to remain awake, her mind and body eventually fell into a deep sleep, during which she was completely motionless.

Cayden stepped out onto the vast balcony by himself and took in the view of the wide garden below him, which included immaculately groomed trees and bushes. The faint glimmer of the city skyline, the skyline of his metropolis, could be seen just beyond the hills in the distance. Regardless of what the other Alphas believed; he was the one who governed the city. Nobody could even come close to challenging him in terms of political connections or financial resources. If he kept any influence over the situation, it would continue in the same manner for as long as he wished it to. Except for the Council, he was the man in command of everything.

Above all else, he held the Council in the lowest regard. At their twice-monthly meetings, which were attended by the wolves with the highest ranks in each pack, they agreed to not make any significant decisions without first talking with one another. He longed for the days when his father was the dominant figure in the household. Because there was no council, everyone did whatever they pleased with no one challenging them. Now they could no longer establish a new business front in any neighbourhood without first talking with the other residents.

"Fuck the council," he muttered.

He had this internal conversation with himself every time the concept of the Council entered his head. They did nothing to the people who murdered his parents.

He lost his train of thought as the sound of the door opening interrupted the flow of the refreshing breeze that rushed across his face. Waiting in the doorway stood Max, being acknowledged by him. Slowly, Cayden turned to face his most trusted man, a caring smile on his face. Max's family had rescued and taken in Cayden when his family was killed, and his pack taken away. Cayden was just a 13-year-old child then.

The only sound that could be heard was the gentle trickling of water in the fountain as the two men gazed out across the spacious garden. Cayden broke the silence when he finally glanced toward his beta and spoke.

"Tell me, Brother, how is my new pet?" His tone is casual, as if this were nothing new to him.

"Martha is taking care of her. It appears she'll be a lot of fun."

After hearing those remarks from Max, Cayden couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

"She is the daughter of the Alpha Hawk. I can't believe I got my hands on one of his brats. This one ought to be entertaining; just picture the look on his face when he finds out that I've converted his daughter into a whore."

"I do not doubt that the boys will go crazy for the slut." Max commented.

"When you go down, remind the boys of my policy about my pet and their demeanour. I'm sure they remember what happened to Boris when he talked to Natasha that I didn't like."

Max responded by saying, "Yes, boss," as he nodded his head in agreement with the affirmative statement.

"Good. Take some time for yourself, Brother. Because tomorrow is going to be such a hectic day, I need my brother by my side when the members of the Council come crying to see me," Cayden informed him, while he was rubbing the back of his neck.

Max responded to him with a smirk creeping across his face and telling him, "I would say the same. However, I believe that you and I are both aware that it will be quite some time before you get some rest."

Chuckling to himself, Cayden gave Max another pat on the back before heading back into the mansion. His feet were heavy with fatigue as they carried him through the halls and up the long spiral staircase. Images and thoughts of what he wanted to do with his little new pet floated into his head as he neared the bedroom door, filling him with the anticipation of playing with his new slut.
