Amber's pov Saturday morning I woke up by my alarm, I was sleeping in Axel’s room and he had me wrapped in his arm. I smelled eucalyptus and sandalwood all around me and did not want to leave at all. Axel’s pov It feels like everyone has gotten used to Elias and Amber in our pack. Elias has been going to school and he has loved it so far, I pick him up every Wednesday afternoon for some father-son time. Amber’s pov Tonight was the night. We haven’t told Elias about tonight’s ceremony, I don’t want to get his hopes up. He has already been looking at me and Axel with a strange look ever since we kissed. It’s like Elias felt something has changed. Perhaps we’re not hiding our feelings that well, Axel and I are very nice and attentive to each other in public and I often see Axel staring at me at the dinner table with a big smile. Amber’s pov I woke up feeling anxious, excited and a bit horny, but they didn’t feel like my own emotions. "Those aren’t your feelings, they’re Axel’s. Axel’s pov I felt kind of guilty pressuring Amber into marking me. But I had a bad feeling about me being gone. I would have a quick talk with my mother and head straight back. It was nice feeling Amber even now, I had been on the road for three hours and I could still feel her nerves. I decided to mindlink her, maybe it would calm Amber down. We could do anything together. She seemed to be relaxed afterwards, so I would try to focus on my own problems for now. The coordinates my guys had send me were for a restaurant in the Sage Mountain pack. Axel’s pov I rushed home, still not confinced everything was fine. Talking to Maria had calmed me down a bit, but I still wanted to see Amber and Elias with my own eyes. When I got home I quickly ran to my room, she was my mate now, so I assumed she would be in my bed from now on. But the bed was empty, I bolted out of my room and into Amber’s room finding her bed empty as well. I feared for Elias and I ran at full tilt to his room, which was empty also. Amber’s pov I woke up in complete darkness and started to freak out. Where was Elias, where was I and what the hell happened last night? Was Maria okay or did she did this?
