Chapter thirty

Amber’s pov

While the rest of the pack headed to the party Axel, Elias and I went to the packhouse to change clothes. Maria had already prepared everything, our clothing was laid out in our room and then the make-up and hair person would come and help us with the rest.

Elias didn’t need any make-up, but someone was coming to put the finishing touch on his hair. It all went pretty fast, we didn’t want to miss too much of the party. We all met in the hall when we were finished. My hair was pulled back with little clips, making my face stand out. The make up artists had used various shades of green eyes shadow to match my dress and my lips were a deep red to go with my hair. I was wearing my new dress with some golden heels, that I could just comfortably walk on. I wondered how long that would last though.
