The moment she stepped into the frat house, someone elbowed her in the side. She blinked and turned only to find her best friend, Ashton, with a deadly glare. Her friend stood in front of her, squinting his eyes against the light.
"I'm shocked you remember me!" He teased her, lips curving in a grin.
It indeed has been a while. Allie was so wrapped up in her problems; she barely had time to talk with him. Ashtons one of her best friends, but she was in no mood for banter. Or anything else for that matter.
