Chapter Ten

Selena Pov

As the cab came to a stop in front of my home, I handed the driver the fare and stepped out of the car while he drove off. I reached for my bag to find the keys to unlock the gate of our home.

I unlocked it and walked in towards the pathway leading to the entrance of the main door.

I stepped into our living room, everywhere looking messed up, I decided to tidy everywhere before I freshened up. I kept my bag on the chair before proceeding to arrange it.

I bent down and picked up a throw pillow, carefully arranging it back on the chair where it belonged. I moved towards the kitchen, relieved to find it clean.

I made my way to my mom's room, I laid her bed and cleaned her bathroom making sure everything was neat before heading to my clean my room.

Soon I was done with the house chores, I took off my clothes kept in the laundry basket and proceeded to the bathroom.

I turned on the shower, I felt the cold water cascading down my body washing away the stress and soothing my nerve
