DAMON'S POV

LEA. It's really her. She came back after months of searching for her to no avail. I am glad I have found the real one but why does she feel fake. I know it's possible to have two mates but what I don't understand is why my wolf doesn't identify her as my mate even though it does everytime it sees the fake one.

Why am I having a hard time accepting the reality that Lea is here? She feels different in just the few moments I've spent with her. I know it's overwhelming since she just came back and all but why is this not coming together for me?

Lea is usually not this... I don't know, she feels different. I went downstairs and told my workers to cook for her. Meanwhile I haven't seen my beta at all. Where is he? It's late already and he is not around. I have seen enough for today, where is he when you need him?
