Bad day ?

Episode 3 

Alyssa's pov .

I got home and the first thing I did was to crash on my bed.

I feel more dumb after that interview . If I don't get that job I can't tell if it's my fault or mr rudes fault.

I guess I just hope for the best or even the worst , because that's what happens .

I made an heavy sigh and closed my eyes for a nap that drifted me to sleep.

I woke up the next day with a pounding headache I couldn't find the reason for.

I went to kitchen to get anything I could use and when I was back to the sitting room.

Someone was banging my door hard. 

"What the fuck ! " I opened it out of faustration . It was Felix.

"What are you doing here " I gave him the annoyed face.

He mushed his lips together.

"Can I come in ?" He said with an innocent expression.

"Absolutely not  " I slam the door on his face.

This man is crazy ,why cant he stop troubling my troubled life all ready.

He as a wife . He should stop coming over to my place.

"Alyssa come on " I heard from the little window in my kitchen.

"About my wife the other day. She's crazy and you know that ... ,I just want to talk about something to you...  it's urgent " he sighed.

I place my hand on my head for some seconds before I had a weird changed of mind to let him in.

"Hey " he said as he stood at the front of the door.

" Okay so the land lord gave us a quit notice ... I don't know what's that about so I'm just curious if it applied to everyone " he asked me.

A quit notice.

Wait .. was that  the paper I picked from the floor from my porche, earlier 

I ran in and went to the counter of my kitchen to grab the paper as I saw it was a quit notice for me also.

How ? I just paid for the six month I was oweing . What the f.

" Oh, I think it's goes for everyone too then " Felix shrugged.

"What do you mean it goes for everyone ,I just paid for the six month I used ... What the hell,I don't even have  money to move . My account is 0 as at now and now its a quit notice im receiving ,god  why is adulting so hard ,why  " I covered my face with my palm as I started sniffing.

"... Are you ... Okay ... Actually I gotta go ...I just ...

"I know this is not enough reason to cry but I just lost my job and I'm not sure I will get another one soon and  I have no one but those that are ready to judge you and make you feel like the most incapable woman on earth ! I feel more like a looser now " I sniffed as i felt an hug... that was pretty comforting.

"It's fine okay ? I've been in your shoes ,I know how adulting life can be so faustrating that you start to think why we were all in an hurry to grow up and that being young was better off ...

And I'm sorry you lost your job too " Felix stated.

"I'm fine " I let go of his hug.

"It's there anything I can do to help " he asked.

"Like ,You are gonna take me in ?" I rolled my eyes.

"I will, look Alyssa  since I moved here I can't list  how much youve been an helper to me . Should I start from when you helped Linda to the hospital when she was bleeding from our miscarriage or the part you paid the hospital bills of my granny that almost lost her life after she got here from mexico with a bus without informing me " he seethed.

" It's fine" I smirked 

"I always sort my self out even though I lament like the world is coming to any end lol " I chuckled and so did he.

"I'm sorry about what you are going through though to be honest I don't know why you facing this  because you are the most genuine and down to earth person I've ever met since 34 Years of my life " he said and that meant so much to me.

"The man's who is going to have you is going to be lucky that's the truth " he said and I smiled.

"Thanks " 

"No you thank you ,.... actually I have to get  to work before my horrible bosses start acting horrible to me " he said as he glanced at his wrist watch .

Then he later left.

Seriously what he said right now didn't only make me feel better but made me feel better of myself .

That's the positive energy I'm looking for and nothing else.

It was getting late so I made dinner and decided to watch river dale.

As my phone buzzed and it was Carly.

"Hey ,Carly  ...." I said on the phone.

"Did you get the job " Carly immediately questioned.

"What job " I acted like I didn't know what she meant.

"The job of course ,the job calous got for you " she said.

"Oh that one " I pretended.

"Are you kidding me right now " she sounded blank.

"Okay the man ,the boss ,the guy who interviewed me ,yes the boss ,he was extremely rude so I yelled at his dumb face and walked out " I said out of annoyance.

"That's a lie ,pls tell me that's a lie " Carly seethed.

"You know I won't do that ,but he was extremely rude to me for no reason " I shrugged.

"His 23 year old he just left puberty what did you expect " Carly laughed.

"Very funny huh "I sighed.

"His a 23 year old ceo who is pretty  successful and our old selves are here finding jobs under him ,how pathetic "I sighed even more.

"Yeah pathetic indeed " Carly chuckled

"So that's why you have to not mind whatever he throws at you cause you need them more than they need you. that's what I've learned from these companies "Carly explained and I exhaled.

Where is the lie 

"So ..do you want to be thinking of how rude he is or to get your ass there and make some money for your up keep girrll "she seethed.

"Yeah I wish, only if I've received any messages that said I was employed " I looked down at my finger nails that I was picking.

"I have a feeling you will get this job and my feelings don't lie ,trust me " Carly said.

"I hope so too "

After talking to Carly for two hours straight who got my ass conforted .

I decided to binge watch river dale to  while away time till its bed time .

my phone vibrated non stop .

And checking it , It was mesages from my mom.

"To be honest I don't know if you are my real daughter ,you act nothing like me ,you are too strong headed " I read

Ughh.

"I think i need a DNA test " her second text came in.

Will she  ever stop being a pest.

I went to bed that day feeling good about my self I didn't let my mom's words get into me like it use too ,

So I had a nice sleep that night.

I woke up the following day already promised myself not to bother even if I don't get the job because it's not the end of life ...to be honest.

As I was relaxed in my robe sipping some hot coffee in my sitting room binge watching my favourite TV show, sex life.

I got an unexpected call that told me to resume work at Benson's enterprise on Monday.

I couldn't believe it . It felt like I was imagining things but it was actually real that I got the job . 

I guess Carly was right all along.

OhmyGod I can't express this happiness.
