Aria’s POV

The world around me was a blur, making me dizzy so I buried my face in Ethan’s strong chest while he had his arms wrapped around my waist.

“Almost there, sweetheart.” He whispered in my ear.

Seconds later he stopped, and I slowly untangled myself from him and looked up into his eyes, “so it’s true.”

He gave me a sharp, toothy grin, “yes.”

“This is unbelievable,” I told him breathlessly.

“Aria, you have no idea the things I can show you,” he trailed his finger down the side of my neck, “the pleasures I can bring you.”

My face heated violently, and I scoffed, “who said I want you to show me pleasures?”

He ran his nose along the side of my neck, “I can hear your heartbeat racing and smell the blood pumping through your veins, are you scared of me now?”

I thought about it and something about his touch made me feel safe, “I know I should be, but I’m not. Zach told me about mates, apparently with this electric touch between us, it means we are mates.”
