Aria’s POV

Zach and I walked into Mr. Zane’s class and right away Mr. Zane called me to his desk, “are you okay? You’ve been missing a lot of school recently.”

“Yes, just been sick, don’t worry about it,” I answered.

He looked me up and down, “I see. I understand there’s lots of changes in your life. Feel free to come to me with any issues.”

I nodded and took my seat next to Zach. Moments later, Noah walked in, “miss me darling?”

“No,” I giggled.

He grabbed his chest, “my heart.”

“How did you manage to get the same classes as me?” I asked him.

“I just follow you and sit down is all,” he replied.

“You mean you didn’t register?” I questioned.

“Register? Darling no, that’s too much work. Just think of me as your shadow,” he smiled at me and Zach scoffed.

“Something to say?” Noah asked Zach.

Zach turned to him, “stop hitting on my mate.”

Suddenly, Mr. Zane coughed loudly, and I turned to look at him and his eyes were burning into us.
