Aria’s POV

Two mates? That had to be impossible. I needed to ask Ethan if he knew what was going on. Ethan had explained yesterday that the tingles I felt when we touched was part of a mate bond, so maybe Zach was right to assume that we were also mates? My head started to hurt, probably from overthinking.

“Ahhh!” I cried out when I was hit with an overwhelming, sharp pain in the side of my head.

My vision blurred and all I could see was what looked like a younger version of me and Zach. We were sitting out by a lake and dipping our toes in the water.

“Aria, we’ll always be best friends, I promise I’ll never leave you.” Zach spoke.

I shoved his shoulder, “of course, silly! Best friends forever.”

He wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer into his sides, “forever.”

Zach looked down at me and I saw what looked like love in both of our eyes. But wait, that can’t be right. I don’t know him and today was the first time we met, right?

My vision started to clear again,
